      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Don't bother

We have a little Asda by our house and I occasionally pop in their for nappies. The nappies happen to be by a small selection of clothes to which I always have a quick look.

The weather was amazing this summer and my fat pregnant feet were in need of some comfortable shoes so when I saw these in Asda I thought for £2 they'd do the job to get me through.

They had these basic flip flops in several colours (blue, black, white & pink) but I decided on the black ones as I thought they would accompany most outfits. The packaging was not existent there was just a black clip holding them together.

The sole was made out of solid, hard foam which had a little squidginess about it but nothing that would mould to your foot and the over the foot strap was made of plastic. I am a size 7 and brought the large size (size 7/8) they fitted my foot well. I have fairly wide feet but my foot didn't spread over the side at all.

On wearing them I'm so pleased I was only in our garden as they rubbed between my toe, even making them bleed. They were uncomfortable on the base of my foot especially on the heel. If I'd of been out wearing these I would be cursing or purchasing a new pair.
Looking at them now they do not look attractive at all and think I caught up in the fact they were only £2. But the black is me most acceptable colour out of the range.

Needless to say they made their way to the bin very quickly. Please save your £2 and do not buy or just throw £2 straight into the bin.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      George Basic Flip Flops

Even though I only wear flip flops occasionally I do like to take a few pairs with me on holiday and I also like just wearing them about the house as I find them more comfortable to wear than shoes and in summer it is obviously too hot to wear slippers.

Some of the best flip flops I have ever purchased come from George from Asda. Although these flip flops are pretty basic they are some of the most comfortable ones I have ever worn. Plus even though they are plain looking the lack of embellishment means that they go with nearly all my outfit choices.

These flip flops are only £2 which I think is absolutely great value for money and they are really comfortable too so it isn't even like you are losing out on comfort for the price. They are as plain as you can probably get with flip flops but they absolutely fine looking and being plain they go with everything from shorts to ¾ length trousers.

They come in a variety of colours and the white ones are my favourites and the ones that I wear the most. They are really easy to clean too so you can keep them nice and white.

The reason that I like them is because they are just so comfortable to wear. They are so light that I almost don't feel like I am even wearing any shoes and the sole is spongy so it cushions my feet nicely. The thong doesn't rub against my toes so I don't end up with peeling skin and blisters wearing them.

They aren't the most fashionable flip flops but I don't really care as they are so plain that they don't really draw attention to themselves whereas some which are all bewjelled and patterned draw the eye and can look a little bit tacky when wearing them.

The flip flops come in small, medium and large and are actually a good fit on my feet. They are wide enough and also the strapping keeps them on my feet and stops them from slipping off and flopping too much when I walk.

I think these flip flops are such good value for money and I would recommend them. You can buy others which are probably better looking but I like them plain and I think these are much more comfortable than others I have worn which cost much more money.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Good for holidays

I was going to the beach and I wanted some cheap flip flops that I wouldn't mind messing up with the sand and water so I looked round the George section at my local Asda hoping I would find something and luckily I did.

Asda do a range in the summer of sandals and flip flops and these were their cheapest, at £3.50 for a pair. Mine differ slightly from those in the picture, they were pink but had a sort of flowery pattern on the foamy sole. I reckon Asda bring out a couple of new designs every summer just to keep up to date with the fashion.

They are very cheap looking admittedly, hanging on their plastic hanger they don't look great. The bottom is thin sponge and there is not much of a grip on them, whilst the toe post is rubber.

I know some folk don't like the toe post on flip flops, but I don't mind much about that and I didn't suffer any pain. They are not great shoes in the sense that you can trip up easily while wearing them so be careful. They are pretty enough but really a "temporary" shoe, something you wear occasionally to the beach, swimming pool or park, but they shouldn't be used as a full time shoe as I imagine the flat sole and toe post isn't too great for posture.

However, they did their job and even though I got them saturated with sea water. they dried out fine when I left them outside.

They come in sizes small, medium and large. Just go by your shoe size 2-4 (small) 5-7 (medium) 8-9 (large). You can try them on too in Asda if you like.

I will continue to wear these whenever I go on beach trips and if they eventually break or wear down I will doubtless buy another pair! lol

Recommended but not as a permanent shoe.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Good value quality flip flops for very little cost

I love flip flops and wear them all year round as slippers. I do own quite a few pairs and usually get cheap ones like these from George at Asda. I have bought cheap flip flops from Tesco and other supermarkets before but they are not half as good as these ones. I currently own three pairs, an aqua pair and a light green pair from last year and a pink pair which I bought this year. I think they do about eight different colours in this range .

These flip flops come in three sizes, small which is 3-4, medium which is 5-6 and large which is 7-8. I am a size five and the medium are perfect for me with a bit of space at my toes and heels but not too much for me to trip over them or to make them look too big. I would think that they will fit most sizes as you don't need flip flops to be the exact size for your feet like you would shoes.

The soles are a substantial foam which is about half an inch thick and is completely flat. The straps and toe post are the same colour as the sole and are a flexible plastic. I have never found either the strap or toe post to rub or irritate me at all and I have walked miles in these, both on holiday and at home. They are secured well into the flip flop and have never come loose or broke.

The bottom of the sole is a bit textured so gives you a secure feeling when you are walking on tiles or any wet surfaces. Like all flip flops I find that if you are out and about and you tread on a sharp stone or other sharp object you can feel this on the bottom of your foot but I have never had one split on me. I find them very comfortable and easy to wear.

I would say that for £2 these are very good quality flip flops which you can easily have a few pairs in different colours. The pretty range of colours is suitable to go with any of your summer wear and I will definitely treat myself to some more when these have finally worn out. The aqua pair which I had last year and which I have worn the most is starting to wear down a bit at the back and there is a dent where my heel goes but I actually got this particular pair for £1 in the last summer sale, so think I have got my moneys worth out of them.

I definitely give these flip flops 5 out of 5 stars.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Good value flip flop

When the summer comes, I look forward to wearing my flip flops and because we have a static van, I like to keep a couple of pairs there so I don't have to bring them home every weekend. I spotted these last year in Asda at the bargain price of £2 so decided to pick a couple of pairs up.

The flip flops are available in three different sizes, small, medium or large but there was no indication I could see of what size large was but I easily solved this by trying them on in store. I suppose this could cause a bit of an issue if I was to order online for the first time. I am a size 7 but my feet are quite wide to I choose the large version just to be on the safe side and although there are a little longer than I would have liked, they fit perfectly on the width and the straps aren't digging into me.

I'll be honest, the flip flops definitely look better on my feet than they do hanging up in the shop, I found that in the shop, they do look a little cheap however on my feet, they don't look tacky at all (although I you could tell from looking at them that they weren't designer flip flops!)

I find the flip flops are quite comfy to wear, even for long periods of time, the plastic straps don't cut into my feet and despite the low price, the soles of them of quite thick so I don't feel every bump and stone in the road when walking. The toe post if coated with a smooth plastic tube so it doesn't rub between my toes and is quite comfy when wearing. I also find that the toe post on both the pairs I own actually feels quite secure and isn't showing any signs of coming out which is good.

I have had two of the pairs for over a year now and although I have only worn them at the weekend, they are still going strong which I am really surprised at, especially considering the low price and the fact that they have been worn on the beach, got wet in the sea etc

As I said earlier, this specific model was from George at Asda however most supermarkets so a similar version. They are available online and in store (normally with free delivery to store over a certain threshold too). There are a variety of different colours and designs available, I choose a pair of black and a pair of white just so they would go with most outfits, there are also patterned versions available but these retail at £3.

Overall, for £2, I would really recommend these and give them 5 out of 5 stars.

      Thanks for reading.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Good value flip flops for the summer

I bought these on a hot day when I was wearing the wrong shoes and was boiling hot. I needed something cheap and summery so I picked these up for £2 while buying food in Asda. There were a few different colours and designs available, mine are a light blue colour, the label calls the colour aqua. I really like the colour of these, I would usually go for a purple or pink but this colour stood out to me, it's really nice. There are plenty of other colours to choose from, I saw pink, purple, black and a couple of patterned ones with contrasting coloured straps which were nice too. I have also seen lime green ones on the Asda website so it would depend which Asda you went to and how many different styles of these flip flops they stock.

These come in 3 sizes- small, medium and large. Small fits 3-4, medium- 5-6 and large- 7-8. I am usually a size 6 and sometimes a size 7, I went for the large size and they fit me, a bit of space at the front and back but they didn't look like they were too big and they were a comfortable fit. I have knocked a star off because I think it would be a lot better if they were available in proper sizes like 3,4,5,6 etc. instead of small, medium and large. This would give a better fit and be easier to choose the size you need

These are basic flip flops, they have a foam sole and plastic strap, the design is simple and the same as most other cheap flip flops. The quality is about the same as all the other flip flops that are this price. They are maybe a bit better quality than others because mine have lasted me a while now without breaking.

These are comfortable and I prefer these to some other flip flops for walking. Flip flops are never the best thing for walking long distances because they don't support your foot but luckily these are comfy and the soles are quite squishy, they haven't really hurt my feet yet apart from once when I was on my feet all day and wore them all day, just like with any other flip flops my feet ended up aching and the soles were hurting.

I do recommend these as a good value pair of flip flops, they're great for the summer and there are a lot of nice colours and designs. I also like how they are sold in Asda so you can pick them up with your food shop.

      I do recommend these

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

A great value flip flop a great investment for the summer

        =George Basic Flip Flops=

Not that I am tight wad, but I brought these for myself and my daughter for our recent holiday so we could use them for going down to breakfast, swimming pool and the beach, as it was too hot to walk on the sand.

        =Price=
These are George brand from Asda, and the flip-flops are there basic range, the plain ones are priced at £2 per pair, or if you want a nice patterned pair they are £3, but for us, I brought the £2 ones as I leave them in the hotel.

        =Sizes=
These come in 3 sizes they are adult sizes, and I found are pretty much true to size.
        -Small = 3/4
        -Medium = 5/6
        -Large = 7-8

        =Colour=
The plain colours included, pink, silver gold, white, blue and purple. I brought White for my daughter she is nearly a size 5, so I got her the medium which fitted perfectly, and me I'm a 6, but found that the Large fitted me better, I had a pink pair.

        =The Flip Flops=
The soles were not the thick soles, they are about 1/2 in thick, but a constant level throughout the flip flops. The rubber straps and the toe post are comfortable, although personally I prefer the old fashioned flip flops that you just use to slide your feet into, what I do with the toe piece, is put some plaster around it, as I find they rub between my toes. They are well fixed into the soles.

        =The Grip=
They have a good grip on both the soles in relation to the grip on the floor, you're not slip sliding everywhere and also they have a textured grip to the base of your sole, so this holds your foot in place.

        =Comfort=
They were perfectly comfortable, with mine I put a plaster on the t-bit, but with my daughter they didn't need that. We lived in the for the day time, and for my daughter the night time, she literally lived in them.

We left them at the hotel at the end of the fortnight, they were still as good as new, but for £2 they did the purpose, they would have lasted us a lot longer, but with shopping every inch saved was filled with something.

        =Since we got back=
I have brought my daughter some more flip flops ready for the summer holidays, she has one pair now which she wears as slippers and another 2 pairs ready for UK holidays.

        =Would I recommend=
I would highly recommend these flip flops, for £2 you just cannot go wrong.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        worth £2

I work in a care home and our shower is completely useless and you end up with a pool bu the time you have finished, I got sick of going home with soaking wet feet but didn't fancy being bare foot in there as who knows what has been on the floor. I saw these flip flops whilst mooching around the George section in Asda and thought they would be perfect to wear whilst showing.

These flip flops are from Asda's own George range although you can buy this sort of shoes from many places, the flip flops costs me a mere £2 which is fantastic value. The flip flops come in a few different colours, our store had a salmon pink colour, purple, black and silver, I personally bought the black ones as I wasn't overly keen on the other colours and felt that the black looked the least cheap.

The flip flops are the usual thick foam base shaped around the foot which is a decent size, they have the usual plastic y shape where the spike goes down between your big toe and second toe. I personally have always hated walking in flip flops and have always found the spike rubs between my toes and hurts however I was amazed wearing these that they are actually pretty comfortable.

The flip flops are available in sizes small, medium and large, i'm a size 7-8 and I find that the Large flip flops fit me well although they wouldn't fit anyone with larger feet than myself.

I have worn the flip flops for about 8-9 weeks now every time I work a late shift at work, I have probably put the flip flops through more than normal wear due to the amount of times they get wet and then dry out again yet I am amazed they don't need replacing yet. The flip flops are nice and comfortable and I don't slip in them on the wet floor either which is perfect.

I would give these 4 stars as they do look cheap and there is no way to hide that however they are comfortable and brilliant value.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        cheap flip flops

We've just recently returned from a month long holiday to the US. Part of the trip included driving down the coast road, Highway 1, in California. I knew before we went that we would be spending a lot of time at the various beaches down the coast and so I would need a couple of pairs of cheap flip flops to wear at the beach. I really hate the feel of the sand under my feet, it actually makes me feel really squeamish, and so whilst most other people go bare foot on the sand I have to keep something on my feet. My husband thinks that I'm a bit crazy for having a bit of a sand aversion, and he always mutters and moans at the amount of sandals and flip flops that I've actually ruined at the beach by getting them full of sand and sea water.

I only wanted a couple of really cheap pairs of flip flops as I didn't intend to bring them back home with me, I basically threw them away on the final day of our holiday. A friend had picked up a couple of pairs of cheap flip flops from Asda for her holiday to Spain and said that they were great value for the money, so I headed to Asda to pick up a couple of pairs for myself.

Asda had a good range of really cheap flip flops; they had various patterned flip flops for just £3 per pair, and then plain coloured flip flops for just £2 per pair. I was tempted by some of the funky patterns especially as they were only £1 per pair more, but in the end I settled for the plain ones as they would be ending up in the bin in a months time. I bought a black pair and a purple pair, I also remember seeing white, pink, silver, gold and blue.

The flip flops came in 3 sizes; small = size 3 to 4, medium = size 5 to 6, and large = size 7 to 8. I went for the medium as I normally take a size 5, these did have a bit of room at the front of my toes and behind my heel, but not too much that they looked silly. I did try on the small as well, which seemed to be a much better fit in length, but the 'straps' on the small flip flops felt slightly tight, and I suspected that they might end up rubbing my feet. The straps on the medium flip flops were comfortably loose.

The soles on the flip flops were not particularly thick and cushioned, but then for a cheap pair of flip flops I don't suppose you should expect too much. They did have a textured feel on the footbed of the sole so that my feet didn't slip and slide around when I wore them, no matter how hot and sticky my feet got. They also had a textured grip to the base of the sole. The rubber straps and the toe posts between my toes were surprisingly comfortable for a cheap pair of flip flops, neither the straps nor the toe posts rubbed my feet at all. The straps and toe post sections appeared to be very securely attached through the sole of the flip flops, and I didn't have any problems with them splitting or coming away at all, even with them getting constantly wet and covered in sand and sea water.

These were absolutely brilliant for the purpose that I bought them for. I wore them around and about the pool area in various hotels, and I wore them at the beach. They were fine for walking on the sand, and even a little bit of sand dune clambering, and even over some rocky areas they were fine. I also ended up in the sea with them lots of times and they were still absolutely fine. For the price I don't think that you can go wrong with these flip flops; they seemed to be very good quality for the low price, they were comfortable, and they come in a wide range of colours and patterns. I'd certainly buy them again for our next holiday.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

A bargain pair of flip flops

Now the sun is finally shining it was time to pull all my sandals out from gathering dust in the cupboard. The problem is as I am 8 and a half months pregnant and for the last few months my feet have been swelling up. I found wearing my usual sandals was resulting in very sore feet, and other than my Ugg's I was unable to find any shoes that were comfortable. While shopping in Asda I came across these flip flops for just £2 and decided they would be perfect for short term use until my feet are back to normal again.

I have to admit that looking at them I was not sure how great the quality was going to be. You can certainly tell they are a lower range of shoe, as the simple design and plastic like appearance shines through. I thought that maybe the plastic front to slip my feet into and hold them in place would hurt my feet, as they looked a little lose before putting them on. They also have a textured pattern on the toe area so again I thought they could become uncomfortable once worn.

Once on I was pleasantly surprised. My feet slid easily into place, and despite the material not being the softest to skin they were comfortable. The sole of the flip flop is deceivingly thick, so that they can be worn for long periods without becoming uncomfortable. They also protect my feet from feeling every pebble or uneven surface I am walking over. Often I find that with cheaper sandals the sole is thin but these are great in providing comfort. There is a textured design on the main body of the flip flop so your feet can grip to the shoe as you walk. This is made perfectly as it is not uncomfortable on my feet, but still provides an extra grip for feet even in warmer weather. There is grip on the bottom of the shoe as well, and I have found that it works well enough.

Durability again surprised me. At £2 I was full expecting to have to replace them after a week or two. They were a short term solution to my problems and I did not have huge expectations from them. A month down the line I have worn these flip flops close to every day. Other than some slight wear to the sole of the flip flops they are perfect. The plastic at the front is a little loose and it looks like it is about to detach from the shoe itself, but they are still fully useable and once on this is unnoticeable. It has been like this from the start, so I am not sure if it is designed like this to give a little movement and space for different shaped feet.

They look a lot better once on than they do off. As of course your feet are covering most of the shoe while wearing them I find they look just like any other flip flop. I have used these on many different surfaces like sand on the beach, grass and wooden decking and they have proved there worth. At £2 they are fantastic quality, and perfect for use on warmer days. They would be perfect for a holiday and as long as you are not planning on walking miles they are perfectly acceptable.

I would recommend these flip flops for anyone looking for something basic for general use. I have walked a fair deal in these shoes collecting the children from school and general errands and they have stood up well. If they can support a pregnant woman at 39 weeks I am sure they are more than adequate for normal use. As they are from the George range they are exclusive to Asda. They are available in a range of colours and designs, so you are sure to find some to suit your style.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          3 stars

I bought these flipflops from George at Asda because they were only £1!

I am not normally a big flipflop fan as find them not to be all that comfortable or supportive but in the summer I do like to have my toes out to help remain cool and I thought for £1 I cannot really complain if they are not the most comfortable flip flops out there.

The ones that I have are an off-white colour. They have plastic straps that are standard to flip flops and reach round the foot and have a part that slips between the big toe and second toe. The actual depth of the soles are not very thick about 1cm and they are not very spongy but more firm which makes them not very comfortable to wear really. I had quite wide fitting feet but can fit in these okay. I find that the plastic between my toes gets a bit uncomfortable as it's really cheap plastic it's quite thin so it is a little sharp for that delicate skin between the toes so when I wear these for a while it makes my skin a little sore.

Walking in these is easy they do stay on my feet but it is not the most comfortable to walk in because there is very little cushioning.

They only cost a pound though so I feel that I cannot really complain, you don't expect much from a product that costs so little. They do fit surprisingly well for me despite my wider feet and they are perfectly okay to look at. I can't wear them for long though and I prefer to wear something with more cushioning so I am going to give them 3 stars because the price is such a bargain. There were other colours available too and some were slightly more expensive and had little details on them like flowers and gems.

          Thanks for Reading :)

I am not a huge fan of wearing flip flops, as they can be quite uncomfortable to wear if you are unlucky enough to buy the wrong ones. However I have found that the Asda branded version to be ones that I can happily wear without suffering the uncomfortable affects associated with wearing flip flops.

          ~ PRICE ~

I bought the Asda basic version from my local Asda, and is located down the clothes aisle. They were priced at around £2, which is great bargain in my opinion. The price meant that even if they weren't that comfortable, I wouldn't have wasted too much money on them, so I thought it was worth a try.

          ~ COLOURS AND SIZES ~

They are available in either blue colour or a light pink colour; I opted for the pink colour because it looked pretty! But they are that cheap I might buy the blue pair next time as well. There are three sizes to choose from; small, medium and large; so there is a size to fit everyone, and they can be tried on at the store to be sure that you choose the right size that suits your feet.

          ~ DESIGN & EXPERIENCE ~

These flip flops are very simple and have a basic design, they have not patterns or pictures on, which was great for me as I just wanted simple flip flops. The flip flops are made from plastic material, and there is a rubber elastic piece that rests in between the toes.

I found the sole to be nice and soft when applying pressure, and to be great little things to wear around the house. I find myself popping these on whenever I need to take the garbage out or when going out into the garden, and they always provide enough protection and comfort.

I also wear these when I visit beaches, although these were comfortable to wear I found that after a while walking in these, my feet did begin to ache. Also I found that as the base is a little thin, I could feel some of the rocks and stones digging into the sole of the shoe. Therefore I would not wear these if walking long distances across a rocky beach. These are great for just short distance walking along a beach or walking around the house, which is what the basic design is made for.

The flip flops are very lightweight on the feet and because of the size they are also ideal for carrying along on trips or fitting into tight suitcases.

          ~ CONCLUSION ~

Overall these are good basic flip flops that are designed mainly to be worn around the house or for short strolls along a beach. They do what they are made to do, are long lasting and all for a bargain price, can't really go wrong with these. Although I do not wear mine all the time, I still found that my pair are still going strong, no noticeable wear and still provides sufficient protection for my feet.

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            A good basic flip flops

I have a lot of problems with my feet. I am very sensitive to bacterial and / or fungal infections, and the soles of my feet have suffered for it. Therefore, I have this habit of wearing shoes, both indoors and outdoors, no matter where I am (even at home). Since my last pair of flip flops with gems is breaking apart, I was looking for a cheap pair of flip flops to replace them. I found these George basic flip flop at the local Asda supermarket and they are on sale for £1.00, which I thought was very reasonable and so I bought them.

For a pair of flip flops that costs £1.00, the quality is what I expect from them. I bought the flip flops in the pink colour as shown above. They come in three different sizes I believe: small (size 3-4), medium (size 5-6) and large (size 7-8), all in UK sizes. When I was shopping for these, there's a a lot of smalls with few large's left, but hardly medium. Since I usually wear shoes that range from size 4-5 and a half, depending on whether they are heels or winter boots. However, whenever I buy flip flops, I tend to go for smaller sizes as there are more room. So for my feet, the small is a very good fit.

As for the materials, they are made of the usual foam-like material for the soles. The straps are made of plastic. They are waterproof and very good for wearing them in the bathroom/shower (in the house or when I go swimming), however when I wear this in the garden for a considerable amount time, the plastic chafes against my feet. Since I mostly use these flip flops as bathroom shoes, they are alright for me.

As for the durability, they are still faring well. I have had a pair of these for about 4 months and they are still functional well. Although I must point out that I rarely wear these outdoors due to the chafing problem I have above. Besides, the weather in UK is not warm enough to be walking about in a pair of flip flops even in the spring. Personally, I like to have a good pair of flip flops ready so that I don't have to worry about infections when I go swimming (and showering afterwards).

Overall, for what they are worth, it is a very useful pair of flip flops. They are not the most asthetically beautiful but they get the job done for what I need them. I am pretty sure George does a range of these flip flops whenever the summer is near (regardless of the current weather conditions), so if you happen to find them in sale, I suggest stocking a pair of them for emergencies.

Thank you for reading and reviewing. :) x

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

Not bad, and they got me through when I needed them!

While I generally hate flip flops of any sort, I ended up somehow purchasing a pair of these while I was on holiday in a tent one year. Why, you might ask, would I purchase something I hate? Well, it was for ease, to be honest. They were pretty cheap (although I think they were in some sort of sale at the time that I bought them) at just 50p. Yes, 50p. How could I resist that, when I was trying to find some shoes I could slip on quickly in the middle of the night to go to the toilet block that was 100 yards away?

The flip flops I bought were a light pink colour like the ones in the photograph above. I think other colours are available, but the pink ones were all they had at the time, and I don't recall ever seeing any other colours in my local Asda/George.

The flip flops themselves are fairly thin, and made out of that foamy cardboard stuff that most flip flops seem to be made of. I don't really know what you'd call it, but they all seem to have it on their soles. The part that separates the toes is just plastic, I think. They're fairly basic, but what do you expect for that sort of money? And besides, they did the job for me, anyway, of getting me from the tent to the toilet block without ending up with soaked feet, and really, that's all that I cared about when I made the purchase.

One thing I would say, though, is that I found the sizing to be a little off. I do have quite large feet (typically a size 8 or 9, depending on the brand and shop I buy from) and I found that the size 8 that I bought was quite small. For me, though, like I said, it was more to get to the toilet block and back without ending up soaked, or having to put on my walking boots or trainers I had with me every time, so they did the job, but if I had bought these with the intention of wearing them regularly, say, on a beach or something, I would have been disappointed I think.

For anyone with smaller feet than me that is interested in purchasing these, they come in UK size 4-8, although if the size 8's are anything to go by, I'd recommend getting a larger size if you can. I don't think they retail for too much money though, and I seem to recall seeing them for around £2 since I purchased them while I was on holiday.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

              cheap and cheerful flip flop

I bought a pair of these in the summer just to wear on the very rare and occasional day that it got hot. I dont like tp pay a lot for flip flops as I dont wear them very often and I also tend to scuff them up very easily when I walk. I normally buy my cheap flip flops from primark but when I saw these in Asda I thought I would give them a go.

They arent as thick on the sole as other flip flops but for £1 im really not complaining. They are comfortable to wear, although after a white they do tend to rub between my toes a little bit, but then again I have yet to find a pair of flip flops that dont do this. I just dont wear them enough to be immune from the toe chaffe yet! They stay on my feet quite well which was one of the main things I noticed, I normally have trouble with flip flops always flopping off my feet but these stayed but when I walked and ran, which meant less scuffing on the floor. Despite this they do get dirty quickly, although the material they are made from makes them easy to wipe clean.

The come in sizes small, medium and large - I went for a size medium and I am a size 6 and they fit me perfectly. I would assume small is for sizes 3 - 4, medium for 5 -6 and large for 7 - 8.

Overall I would definitely recommend these if you are just looking for a cheap and cheerful flipflop to wear on your holiday or at home through the summer. I really cannot fault them for their price, and as they are simple and plain they go with almost anything.
