      A fantastic pair of shoes

      My little girl needed a new pair of black shoes and so I picked these up while shopping in Asda. At £10 they are a reasonable price and they were very pretty. They are a simple classic design, with a floral design at the front of the shoe so great for young girls. There are also a few black sequins just to liven the shoe a little, but they still do not draw too much attention so are suitable for school. I love that they are perfect for lots of different outfits, and these are the main shoes my daughter wears to nursery. I loved them as they were practical, and my daughter loves them because they have hearts on.

      ===The shoes===

      The scratch resistant promise did pull me in. My little girl goes through a lot quicker than my sons do and her shoes end up looking years old in days. Anything that can try and challenge this is a plus for me especially at a reasonable price. I have had good experiences with George clothing in the past, so I was happy to try these. They do look fantastic quality and practical, so I decided we would put them to the test. My little girl decided she wanted to wear her new black shoes to nursery. This continued for a week and despite needing to be wiped down, there was no damage to the shoes at all. Usually by this point there would be a few scratches nothing major, but there were absolutely no markings. My daughter has not been wearing these daily anymore as she has other shoes from Santa, but she still wears them at least twice a week. They have continued to prove just how durable they are, as even after trips to the local country park they remained scratch free.

      They are fantastically made for the small amount we paid for them, and we loved them that much that I have purchased the newer version which comes in a butterfly styleThese are also fantastic and live up to their scratch resistant promise. I really hope that Asda continue to stock these shoes as I will be purchasing them again for when my little girl goes into primary one. We are now three months into owning these shoes and they are still in perfect condition. They are not completely invincible, and there is a slight scratch on the side of one of the shoes now. This is hardly noticeable unless you are up really close, and compared to how other shoes would have lasted not disappointing at all.

      The size range runs from an infant 1 right up to an infant 13. We found that the fitting was perfect, and my little girl's usual size fitted her like any other shoes. They have a good heel on the shoe that they are comfy for her to walk in, and she has never complained about any discomfort. I believe the floral has now been discontinued in favour of the newer version but they are just the same quality wise. They are aimed at school children in store, but they are perfectly fine for a pretty pair of black pumps for younger girls. My little girl has done lots of walking in these shoes, as well as playing at nursery and day to day use so they have been put through their paces.

      As they have a hook and loop fastening this means my daughter can put these shoes on herself. She absolutely loves this as it means she can change them anytime she likes. The Velcro fastening on the loop is still working perfectly. My daughter does like to change her shoes a lot, often up to 5 times a day so this can sometimes become a little worn. These shoes do not scream out bargain either. The strong leather and stitching look just as good as shoes we have paid £40 for. The detailing in the front of the shoes is very pretty and again finished to a brilliant standard. The heel of the shoe is thick, easy to walk on comfortably, and simple additions like pink butterflies, or embodied hearts used for the grips on the bottom of the shoe make them appear more up market. The only downside I can think of is the inlay of the shoe is not as padded as more expensive shoes. Like I said previously they do not cause any discomfort at all, so this is not a major problem.

      ===Summary===

      I would recommend these shoes to anyone with a little girl in school or just for general wear. They are simple enough to be suitable for school, yet have simple detailing making them attractive to children too. They are well made, really are scuff resistant and still look brand new after months of use. At £10 they are a very reasonable price, and I will certainly be buying them again. They are honestly the best pair of shoes my daughter has owned, and this is over more expensive brands like Clarks and Lelli Kelly.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Would recommend to all little girls and their mummies!

        I bought these for my four year old daughter for her starting school, as I was looking for classic school uniform, but with a girlie touch to it. These shoes fitted the bill perfectly.

        They are black, with embroidered flowers and little flowers stuck on them. Another little flower on the end of each strap. Velcro straps, which are always useful. Round the top rim, they are are padded so no rubbing on little feet. The soles are quite chunky with heart shapes on the side of the heel, and the soles are black with pink butterflies and flowers on them.

        The shoes also came with a little pack of stickers, which was a small bonus.

        They were £10, which was the cheapest pair of school shoes that I could find, but they are a great pair of shoes. My daughter has been wearing them for a week so far - she never wants to take them off, and even though she has fallen over once (not the fault of the shoes!), they are not marked at all, let alone scuffed.

        There was one thing that I expected to be a slight downside - the insides are shiny silver with patterns, so I didn't think that I would be able to write her name inside them, but it was easy enough to do with an ordinary pen.

        I love these shoes, and I think my daughter does too. They are great quality for a very reasonable price and I would absolutely recommend them to any mums of little girls.
