I bought these at Christmas because my cheap £5.00 shoes were ripped to shreds and soaked because of all of the snow ( and they was just cheap! ) I decided to go to Asda because my dad told me they had lots of boots which were reduced down!
These boots are not what I wanted, I mean I do like the style but I just hate black shoes, there is something about them that just doesn't look right on me, but as I was walking around in wrecked shoes I decided not to be an idiot and just buy them because I probably looked like a tramp!
The boot style is basic and simple and has ruche detail around the front and back, they have a leather rough feeling and are quite shiny, they do not come far up the calf, just a bit above the ankle.
The sole of the shoe is very thin and they are quite easy to bend, they don't feel very 'sturdy' and best for a lot of walking, but me being me I didn't think of this when I decided to buy them!
The shoe has no zip so you have to just pull on, best doing this sat on something at first ( although now I am a genius at doing it standing up with shoes like this! go me! ) they can be a bit annoying sometimes to get on and off, especially when your tired!
When I first went out in these, there was snow all over the floor, and my feet felt so cold even with big fluffy socks on, they didn't keep me warm at all and my socks had a slightly damp feeling to them. I found them quite uncomfortable to walk around in, bits and pieces inside the shoe dug into the sides of my feet and after a good few uses of these I noticed they began to stretch?..even though they fitted me perfectly, and because of this I found my feet slipping around more!
You could actually feel every bump in the surface as well when you walked in them, the sole was absolutely awful and cheap, I couldn't believe how badly they were made, the sole began to come off around a month later to which resulted in these going into the bin!
I paid around £13.00 for these, after being in Asda the other day they still have them and they are reduced by half I think, I wouldn't recommend them though!
Luckily, my lovely dad picked out some really good sturdy and thick brown ankle boots from Asda for me which are gorgeous and they are so comfortable to walk in, they also fetch lots of compliments! Only £4.00 too! I will try to look on here for them and write a review!
