H&M Fabric Sneakers
Advantages: Look nice, price, comfort
Disadvantages: Not 100% waterproof
I never really think H&M when it comes to buying shoes but the last time I was in there (the Trafford Centre store), I was picking a few basics up for my toddler and I saw these fabric and rubber lace up sneakers for only £7.99. I thought they'd be a decent alternative to black ballet slippers now the weather is turning and getting cold and wet, and they're flat which I prefer being quite tall, plus I can't drive in heels!
The shoes are pretty basic but look more expensive than their £7.99 price tag in my opinion. They're 100% cotton sneakers with metal eyelet holes, black laces and black rubber soles. They're also available in grey. They come in sizes 3 - 8 (as far as I could see in the store) and are available instore and on the H&M website, a delivery charge applies but there are usually 10% off codes floating about the net if you don't live near a H&M or have a few things to buy.
They're really comfortable to wear and true to size unlike some cheaper shoes (I'm looking at you Primark) which seem to fit one size smaller. They stretch to your feet and are extremely comfortable to walk and drive in. When it's raining, obviously the upper isn't waterproof, but they are waterproof underfoot and more than OK for light showers and popping to the shops and so on.
Overall these sneakers are great, they look more expensive than they are, they're pretty in fashion at the moment but they won't break the bank. They're well made, very comfortable and pretty sturdy. For under a tenner for a pair of sneakers which won't pall apart you can't go much wrong with the fabric sneakers from H&M.
Summary: Good value sneakers
