I dont particularly believe in always buying well known brand names, especially when it comes to shoes. Although I do like the look of shoes such as Converse or Vans, but I find them to be horribly over priced for what they are. When it comes to trainers and plimsols I tend to go for the cheaper options from shoes such as Primark, Newlook and H&M.

These partcular ones from H&M cost £9.99 and come in a range of colours. I own the black ones as pictured above, but have also owned a pair of white ones in the past. They are made from black cotton an and also have a matching black rubber sole and black laces. The soles on them are medium thickness, not as thick as more expensive brands but thicker than cheaper ones from say Primark. The shoes themselves are quite soft and flexible so I find them to be very comfortable to wear, I have bought pumps in the past that have been quite hard and stiff and have really rubbed the backs of my heels - but these are fine and very comfortable.

The only thing I dont like about these is the fact that they are completely black - but I solve that for changing the black laces for some colourful ones. These shoes last quite a while, I have had my black pair for just under a year and I wear them quite often and they are still going strong, which for £9.99 is amazing!

Overall these are a great pair of shoes and a perfect alternative to the more expensive Vans or Converse. I would definitely recommend them!
