I love these slippers!!! I was given these for Christmas last year by my sister and have worn them most evenings around the house since.
From H&M theses slippers come in 3 different sizes 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8 and cost £14.99. I have looked in their online store www.hm.com/gb/ to see if they still stock these but sadly they don't. I'm not surprised really with it being summer but I thought I'd check anyway in case anyone reads my review and wants to buy them.
The slippers I have are exactly like the ones pictured. Made with 100% acrylic they're a lovely cozy boot style with really warm fleece interior. The outside is a combination of brown and pink. The soles are quite thick with raised circles all over them that acts as a tread so you don't slip on hard surfaces like laminate flooring. The main body of the slipper is pink with lines of a knitted brown fabric over the top. The top of the slippers have brown faux fur around the top and they're finished off with cute little bobbles in the same brown faux fur.
They're fully washable at 40 degress and I've washed mine a few times now. I reshape them after they come out of the washing machine and then leave mine out to dry but you can tumble dry them on a low heat. My only disappointment is after a few washes the bobbles came off!!! I've swen them back on but they're not 100% in thier original place.
Browsing online before Christmas looking for ideas for gifts for people I stumbled across some grey slipper boots from H&M and decided immediately that I would purchase them for my sister but that they would also go on to my list of gifts I would like to receive as I just thought they were so cute. I was lucky that one of my friends bought them for me and this is my review of them.
The slippers are a grey knitted boot which remind me a bit of ugg boots if I am honest. They have a white fake fur trim as well as two white fake fur bobbles which hang down on each boot too making them look extremely cute in my opinion. The slippers have a chunky sole with little raised dots on so that you wont slip and slide everywhere. The boots look fashionable in my opinion, as far as slippers go, and I am happy to wear them around the house.
The slippers come in sizes 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8 and the ones I have are 3-4 and fit me perfectly. I find it really easy to pull the boot on to my foot and they aren't too big or too small and I feel really comfortable in them. The inside feels nice and cosy as it is a fleecy material and so it keeps my feet warm when I need it as well.
What has been disappointing with these boots is that two of the fake fur bobbles have fallen off on one of the boots and I cannot get them back on and so my slippers don't match anymore! I wouldn't expect them to fall off so soon after getting them to be honest but this is more of a cosmetic thing obviously and it doesn't affect the comfort of the slippers in any way.
The slippers are great for when I am wandering about the house but I would say that they can be a little slippy on laminate surfaces or when I have just mopped and so you do need to take care sometimes in them. They don't feel too chunky though and so I can walk around normally in them and not trip up which is something that I have done in the past with other slippers!
The slipper boots are made from 100% acrylic according to the H&M website and can be washed at 40 degrees. I have washed my slippers a few times since I have owned them and they wash well and reshape well too and so I do think they will last me a good while. I do tend to always want a new pair of slipper boots at Christmas but I see no reason why these boots won't last me and I would certainly recommend looking out for them next year should H&M reissue them as they are a good slipper. They did cost £14.99 last year, and were in the sale for just £3.99 but they are all sold out now.
Thank you for reading my review!
