Havaianas Flip Flops

I LOVE Havaianas. They are THE most comfortable flip flops in the world, and they're far more stylish than your average, run of the mill variety. Havaianas were first made popular when big names such as Gisele Bunchen and other stars began wearing them. Interestingly though, the company first started producing footwear as early as 1907 when it created slip on sandals for the coffee workers in the company's native country of Brazil. The canvas shoes were then modified after the Japanese between the toe sandals, and the material was changed to rubber. THat way the shoes were comfortable and affordable. I am so glad these lovely flip-flop babies are available in Dooyoo's catalogue. Flip-flops are the rage of young people, nowadays. They're not only comfortable but some known brands are pimping their flip-flops, offering buyers some really innovative designs. I own two pairs of Havaianas flip-flops. Both from their slim edition. I love the slim straps because they're sexy and complement slim feet very well. The rubber they use don't wear out easily. Although, I was a bit disappointed with how fast the prints faded. I am a huge flip flop fan and Havaianas are most defintely my flip flop of choice. I have tried various brands including many of the well known surf brands but Havaianas come out head and shoulders above them all. They are probably the most comfortable of flip flops with a well cushioned sole that takes a fair battering (believe me I have tried). They come in a wide variety of colours, including the metallic thongs which is a particular favourite of mine and they are always changing their colours, patterns and styles which keeps you wanting more. I live in flip flops during the summer months and as such, it was difficult for me to escape people lavishing praise on their Havaianas - I heard superlatives ranging from 'most comfortable' to 'most stylish', and I thought I might try them for myself, so I bought a pair of hot pink Havaianas. Typically, I wear Rainbow flip flops, and I don't know if I've been converted. They were in no way more comfortable than my Rainbows - if anything, as they were thinner with more give on the straps (rather than sporting shorter straps, which meant the 'flop' was always staying close to my foot), they were less comfortable than my Rainbows. I must say i am a huge flipflop fan. Living the 'surfer life' in Cornwall, I wear flipflops all day long all year long. Havaiana flip flops are my favourites for these reasons Pros Lots of different colours and prints. They are slightly heavier and thicker than normal flipflops and this prevents that 'flap' noise as they dont ping up the foot as much. They are slightly more expensive at around £20 per pair..or paying up t £30 for a limited edition pair. But this means that not everyone is wearing them.
