Havaianas Flip Flops
Advantages: nice styles and colours, grip well
I love it in the summer time when I can finally wear all of my summer footwear, well when the weather is nice which in this country isn't very often. I had been wanting some Havaianas for ages and was shocked when my boyfriend came back from his holiday and had bought me a pair as a surprise. There are so many colours that you can choose from but he got me some purple ones, my favourite colour and they are the Brasil logo ones, they are great and I couldn't wait to start wearing them.
These flip flop are pretty standard as far as the style of flip flops go, they have a band on each side that meets in the middle, thong style. They have an oval on the sole with the Havaianas logo embossed on it and then the actual straps have the Brasil flag on them with Havaianas type embossed onto this as well. It looks great and they have a sort of snakeskin like texture on the sole and on the strap they have a ridged effect which just makes them look good for gripping and so much more comfortable.
HAVAIANAS BRASIL FLIP FLOPS
These flip flops are pretty easy to take off the packaging as there isn't really that much, when ready to wear, the soles underneath are like a brick effect outline which is good as you can see that by looking at them they are going to grip well. I have had flip flops in the past and my main problem is that they don't grip well on surfaces or that they dig inbetween my toes and I hate that. I hoped that by having a more expensive flip flop that they would last the test of time and be a lot more longstanding.
When wearing these first I took them out on a sunny day around town shopping, they are quite cushion like to walk on and very padded so that they feel comfortable. Usually the surface of my foot can get a bit sore from walking on flip flops in the summer but with these I didn't feel it at all they just seemed to pad my foot really well and I like that about them. Not only that but even walking on them, I didn't feel like I was going to slip as they did make it easy to walk on all surfaces gravel, marble, stone you name it.
I had no discomfort between my toes with these shoes either, they had been on my feet for a very long day and I took them off and had no signs of rubbing or pain. I have been using my Havaianas now for a good while and the underneath of them doesn't look badly worn at all neither does the overall flip flop look worn, still good quality and they last a good while. They are worth paying that but more for as they seem to be much stronger and the comfort factor is the main selling point.
The last thing really is that being a sort of rubber material they are so easy to clean, just a quick clean with a wipe or a sponge and any dirt will come right off and they will look as good as new. I like the fact that they fit very well onto my foot and don't feel too loose so that I know they won't slip off or cause me to trip. Really, I cannot praise these enough, I need to buy a few more pairs as there is a good range for both men and women and the quality is a worthwhile price to pay for.
The official Havaianas website is selling these for £20 which is the usual price for them in most shoe shops that I have seen so far. Matalan sell them for half of the price but they are not the Brasil logo model.
