The Havaianas brand is a brand which is like the Prada of flip flops - literally, that's all they make, as far as I know. They can be found in higher end high street shoe shops - your Office, Jones and so on, rather than your budget places. The reason for this is probably the price tag - the RRP for a pair of these Havaianas Brasil flip flops is a whopping £22 - which is definately what I'd class as expensive for a simple pair of flip flops. I personally have never understood why these are so popular. The only reason I own a pair is because I used to work in a shoe shop a few years ago and was able to purchase a pair really cheap. Havaiana is a brand that has been around since the 1960's, which for a company that sells only flipflops is a really long time! They sell themselves on being of a really high quality, and being comfortable to wear - and also coming in a very wide range of colours.
