One of my daughters has had a real stage of loving High School Musical but I fear that she is finally reaching the end of her babyish years as she starts to like more grown up things like actual bands and pop music (oh dear!). One of the items I brought for my daughter on her 11th birthday was these high school musical slip on slippers. I purchased the slippers, online, for £7.99 and the size I purchased was just perfect for my daughter who has small feet given her age and has always been quite petite.
These shoes are pink, padded and they have a black sole with the High School Musical logo emblazoned all over them. There is plenty of padding all over the shoes to keep my daughters feet nice and cosy when she is wearing them. There are no lose stitches or problems with these slippers even after a good year of use which is very pleasing as she is always running around the house in them and even nips out to the post box from time to time!
The slip on design is fantastic for my daughter as she can keep them by her bed and be up and down for breakfast in just a few seconds. I would say that because my daughter is older she is fine to go up and down the stairs in these but a younger child may struggle a little as these can be quite slippery on wooden or polished surfaces such as our staircase.
My daughter loves the warmth of these slippers and while she owns a couple of different pairs of slippers, bed socks and other items designed to keep your feet warm these are her favourite slippers at the moment, even if she is growing out of her high school musical phase.
I am pleased with the quality of these slippers as they have lasted quite a while already, the logo is still all intact both inside and on the front of the slippers and they have been through the wash several times with no adverse effects at all. I have washed these, separately, and with other pairs of slippers and the colour has stayed perfect, as has the quality of the padding and so far they have done her a fantastic turn even if they are starting to getting a little snug for her feet now. I guess she has to grow up sometimes!
One of the presents I brought my 10 year old sister for Xmas was a pair of slip on High School Musical slippers, they were bright red with the words on the front in a shiney silver. She loves them and so did my other sister who is 2 1/2 and on Xmas Day she cried for ages when she realised she hadn't got any. I'd forgot all about it but one day a couple of weeks ago I went into Shoe Zone and saw they had the same slippers in pink reduced in price to £2.99.
They had a pair that looked like they'd probably fit her so I picked a pair up for her..... she loved them!!!
These are a kids size 6 and are a bit big for her but not much, she's in a size 4 shoe so these deffo come a lot bigger than shoes. They look majorly comfy and are well padded on the sole and the top part of the slippers so they'll keep her feet warm and comfortable. The only thing is we have to watch that she doesn't try going up the stairs in them because she's never wore slip on shoes or anything (her name isn''t Suri Cruise!!! lol) so she trips on them a bit as they slide on her feet.
They wash good in the washing machine even though the label says not to machine wash them! I had to one day though because she wasn't well and puked all over them, a wet cloth wouldn't have done it because you knooooooow how disgusting milky baby sick is!!! I did them on a cool wash and dried them on the radiator, they kept their shape fine and the sole hasn't fell to bits inside the material so it's all good.
For the price I paid I reckon these slippers are wicked, they look great and let my little sister think she's grown up because all the rest of us girls wear slip on slippers round the house. The proper price of £7.99 is reasonable as well I think because they're well made and haven't got any loose stitching or anything, but I probably wouldn't have paid that for her pair because the slip on design of them isn't REALLY suitable for a little kid of her age and she probably won't wear them for that long..... probably until the first accident and then my mum will take them off her! lol
