Advantages: Well made, good looking shoe with velcro pocket in lip of shoe.

Disadvantages: Some suppliers taking the traditional retail $ to £ conversion rate too far!

I was motivated to buy these shoes because of the stash pocket contained in the lip of the shoe, for storing cash while travelling abroad.

Various products exist to hide cash in shoes but I liked the fact that this was an integral part of the shoe and therefore less obvious than a securitypouch and I wanted trainers anyhow.

The shoes themselves are well made and comfortable and stylish and come with extra shoe laces and trendy ipath styling.

The actual pocket in the pocket of the shoe is quite small, (but actually considered quite big for it's intended purpose, as it's intended purpose probably isnt for the storage of money, I suspect). You can store £100 sterling in £20s or 500 Euros in 100s reasonably well, but anymore than this and I think you may be sacrificing comfort over function, as the lip bulges.


In America various websites sell them for around $50 dollars but being in the UK, I bought them from a Uk supplier called Kates Skates, they cost £55 includind delivery. The delivery was prompt and well packaged, I since discovered they were one of the most expensive suppliers for the Uk out there for this shoe.

At £55 I do not consider them especially good value but ok. The perils of clicking the first google ad you see.

Somewhat later I discovered a website called TeamHell, (Teamhelluk.com), which also stocked the shoes.

From this site they retail at £25, (though they may of been on sale, I think their non sale price is £39), which for the exactly same shoe, except for colour was very good value. So much so I ordered two pairs, thinking that perhaps as they were so cheap I d get a battered box or delivery after an aeon. But no, exactly the same shoe, well packaged and the prompt delivery of the more expensive supplier. Also more email contact than the expensive supplier and polite communication too! So much so, that I felt obligated to give this positive review.

At £25 I think they are fantastic value for a trainer.
