“ Brand: Iron Fist / Type: Pumps „
Appearance and Material
The wolf beater pumps are also available in heel form as well as flats like most of Iron fist shoes their name matches the design in this case the name is wolf beater and the design on the shoe is of a bloody wolf. Although this isn't a full wolf the mouth and teeth are at the front of the shoe and it's fur is all around the rest of the shoe except for the bottom which is plain black. The mouth is a snarling set of teeth with blood dripping from them and then there is grey and black shading to look like the wolf's fur. On the inside of the shoe is velvet like material and the same design is continues with blood splatters and grey fut. The is also a satin black bow on each shoe.
The shoe itself is a thin plastic type material but I'm not sure what it is also the shoe it slightly patent so it does give them a pretty shiny. These have a stitched seam going up the back of the shoe which does make a nice feature but isn't that noticeable these wolf beaters also have a slim black rubber sole for the bottom. The wolf beaters are to fit normal width feet so these will feet the average foot and they come in women sizes 3 - 9 The from of the shoe will come just past your toes making sure they don't slip off when your walking.
These come in their own shoe box with iron fist printed tissue paper for protection, my friend bought me these as a Christmas present and I got a little annoyed with her because of the price of these but taking these out of the box they smelt so lovely and new and really smooth to the touch I couldn't resist putting them on straight away. She bought me a size 5 but I'm a size 6 they of course was tight fitting at the toes but I never told my friend because they was a present.
Wearing these properly for the first time I wanted to be careful what I wore these with because I needed something to go with the colours of the shoes so I just wore a black dress with black wool tights this meant that the shoes would stand out more because people's attention is drawn to them from the lack of colour from my clothing. These was tight on my toes but this loosened off throughout the day which I was happy about. When walking around despite the thin sole I couldn't feel the stones when I walked over them so these were really comfortable tow ear for lengthy amounts of time.
After wearing these on and off for a few weeks wearing them to work and out and about these begin to stretch the the sized of my actual feet but after a time these got a little hole in the front on both shoes, I then noticed the seaming at the back of one shoe is starting to come undone so I stopped wearing these as much through no fault of the shoe.
I got some black nail varnish and covered up the new faults in my wolf beaters and you can't even tell that it's happened. I've coloured them in twice now but it's no burden to me to do this as I love wearing them, I clean these all the time because the last thing I want is trampy shoes, so taking a make up wipe/ baby wipe I just run it over the outside and the bottom of the shoe.
Conclusion, Price and availability
Overall the design is beautiful and will really make your feet stand out and make a statement, these are comfortable to wear on a night out, to work or just for average wearing although make sure you get the right size otherwise you'll end up with shoes like mine.
