“ Brand: Iron Fist / Type: Flip Flops „
This is a review of my latest pair of shoes, a pair of flip flops that I bought after reading a review on here for some amazing heels that I knew I could never wear due to clicky ankles but when I saw the flip flops I just had to have them!
I know that one or two people on here will love these shoes and the other 99% will just hate them but I think they are really good fun. The actual flip flops are black on the part you see with a sort of satin effect but hard wearing material and a bow on the side. You can see a bit of the green sole when wearing them but when you take your feet out there is a grimacing zombie face glaring up at you. They also have a pink version which I may get in the future if I can ever find the right size for sale.
I went for the green ones as I found them online in a size 9 and I have got 8/9 feet so tend to err on the side of caution but when they arrived, I was worried, the box said 'Iron Fist Girls' on it and I though for a moment I had bought a pair of kids flip flops but never fear, they were actually a EU42 which I think is an 8 anyway and they fit just fine. You can also get these on amazon in some sizes but not all.
Mine were £18.99 from Ripleys store on ebay, free postage included. I also got a cute sticker in the box which was an added nicety for me. The box was a bit battered, I don't know if this was from storage or postage but it was a shame as it was such a cute box with a rope handle I'd have been tempted to keep it for storage if it had been in better condition but never mind.
The flip flops are a cute and girly with a bow but a nasty surprise inside and I like this twist. The other advantage is the way they are made, the picture is not printed on the sole but is like the pattern of the material so will not wear off when you walk around in them like some flip flop soles do. Whilst they were not cheap, they are quite unusual and you do have to pay for these kind of touches. When I first tried on the flip flops I worried that they felt a bit tight around the strap but I think that was more newness as I haven't noticed that initial snugness since wearing them a few times.
Whilst I have bought these at the total wrong time of year, I will still wear them in the house and garden a lot over the coming months. In summer they will get a lot more wear too and I am tempted to get the pink ones too. The online store Ripleys was really quick in despatching the flip flops to me and I had good communication with them, including the free postage I think they are a good company to buy from.
