I think that these are possibly my favourite shoes in the whole wide world ever - which is quite something coming from someone with such a huge shoe addiction as I do. I love them in all their guises but, like I said, these are my favourite.

They are from the Irregular Choice collection, which is available from Schuh and the Schuh concessions in Republic stores. Irregular Choice have been around for some time and, as the name suggests, they are a collection of whimsical shoes that are often more than a little bit different.

These particular shoes have been in the collection for quite a while, the only way in which they have varied over the years is the size of the heal. This just shows how good they are - they have stood the test of time.

The shoes are are leather, but the upper is a soft almost canvas type material that has really thin black stripes on them rather like a pinstripe suit. The 'bow' on the front is made from measuring tape and this theme is continued at the heel, which is lined with the same thing. I absolutely love the style because it is different, but without being too wacky. I get so many compliments when I'm wearing them and, at the risk of sounding a little conceited - I love it!

The classic colours of the shoes mean that they go with everything too - you can wear them at the office with a suit or dress them up for a night out. They are very versatile.

The inside of the shoe is lined with a luxurious pink velvet material, which makes them very comfortable to wear. I can wear them all day without feeling any discomfort. The size of the heel (about an inch and half) helps with the comfort factor too.

The shoes are about £60, which is pretty expensive. Having said that, I have had mine for a couple of years and they look just as good as they did on the day I brought them home. I think this shows that you do get what you pay for and in this case, you pay for good quality. I would definitely recommend them.
