“ Brand: Joli / Type: Pumps „
I practically live in trainers or high boots/shoes as I find shoes such as ballet pumps uncomfortable to wear and they hurt my feet. I would chose to wear a paif of heels over a pair of flats anyday! I wanted some casual shoes that I could wear with leggings or jeans but wanted something with a slight heel. I wanted a plain colour as a colour such as black would pretty much go with anything. I visited a website called Mr Shoes and immediately fell in love with these flatform pumps that were on the website. When i first saw them I thought they looked slightly dated and old looking for me, how-ever having seen them modelled on 3 different girls and deciding that they looked great I decided to purchase a black pair.

The shoes are called flatform pumps, which I presume is because these are like ballet pumps but have a slight heel to them. The platform measures just over 1 inch high so weren't too high for day wear but weren't so low that they would hurt my feet. The shoes come in a range of different colours including Black Leather, Black Suede, White Suede, Leopard Print and Wine. These colours have a black plaform to them. Other colours which are available include Pastel Blue, Pastel Yellow and Pastel Lilac, how-ever these have a white platform so would be more suited for warmer/summer weather. The shoes are avilable in sizes 3-11, but they do suggest purchasing a size up from your normal size as they do come up quite small. I wasn't really sure what size to purchase as I range between a size 5-6 in shoes. I decided I would go for the size 6 and if they were too tight I could send them back. I purchase the black suede pair as I thought these would look more casual that the black leather one's and I didn't really think the other colours would go with everyday wear. The shoes are price at £19.99 which I thought was very resonable value for a comfortable pair of shoes that will go with a wide range of different outfits.
Wearing the Shoes

The shoes were a good fit and they fit comfortably without feeling too tight around my feet and toes. When wearing the shoes for the first few times they did rub a little on the back of my heel and did cause a slight sore/blister, how-ever as I have worn the shoes a few times now they now fit fine and I no longer get blisters from wearing them. I find the shoes really comfortable to wear during the day whether its for work or another occasion. I wear the shoes mainly with leggings or skinny jeans as I think they look better with these. As the shoes are black they go with quite a few different outfits. The shoes aren't too high so don't hurt my feet but at the same time they aren't totally flat either. The sole of the shoes have quite a good grip on them espicially when wallking on wet shop floors such as tiled floors. To clean the shoes I normally wipe them with a damp cloth and leave them to dry naturally. If you scuff the shoes the marks will show up on them. I have been asked a few times where I purchased the shoes from as other people have said that they look nice and that they also look comfortable to wear. The shoes have loosened a little as I have worn them more but they haven't become really loose that they slip off.

In terms of value I think the shoes are very reasonable as they are made really well and are comfortable to wear (after wearing them a few times). The shoes can be dressed up with jeans or leggings and a nice top for a few drinks down the pub or they can be dressed down wearing a nice casual top or a big baggy jumper over leggings or jeans. I like the Pastel colours in these shoes and I think that these would look great in the summer with white jeans or 3 quarter length/cropped trousers. I would definately recommend these shoes to others, espicially if you don't particularly like really high heels but don't like flat one's either. You may find these a little uncomfortable to wear at first but once they have been worn a few times they do become more comfortable. I can't really fault these shoes in anyway, so I think they deserve a full 5 stars.
