“ Brand: Kurt Geiger / Type: High Heels / Gender: For women „
Shoeaholics.com is a website, not for seeking help for my problem, but to encourage me to keep on splashing out on more and more shoes.
I discovered it about 2 years ago and have regularly indulged since then.
They sell shoes from brands such as Kurt Geiger, Carvela, Nine West, Lipsy, Jessica Simpson and Vince Camuto for a fraction of their original selling prices and I can assure you that they are genuine.
One of the pairs of shoes I purchased from the site this summer were these lovely Kurt Geiger Esmeralda patent leather heels.
They are available in black or nude, but I think they were only available in nude on the Shoeaholics website, which I didn't mind as I have a very similar pair of Kurt Geiger shoes in black patent leather anyway.
~ Price and availability ~
They cost me just £29.00, but were originally £160.00 so I was rather pleased with this saving of £131.00.
You can still buy them on Kurt Geiger's website in the sale for £49.00.
The shoes are by Kurt Geiger London rather than their cheaper ranges, Miss KG or KG Kurt Geiger.
~ Appearance ~
The shoes are made from nude patent leather. They have an almond shape toe and a stiletto heel. The heel is quite wide at the top, but it tapers towards the bottom of the heel, which is very narrow.
The soles of the shoes are made from leather. The heel is 9cm or 3.5 inches in height.
The shoes are a classic style and would go with almost any outfit.
Being nude, they go well with lighter coloured outfits, but they look just as good with black so they are very versatile.
~ In use ~
The shoes are true to size. I bought my usual size and they fit well.
They are comfortable and easy to walk in. I don't find that they rub or nip at all. I have worn them a few times, but I must admit I have never walked for miles in them and on the occasions I have worn them I haven't spent long periods of time on my feet. I usually wear them when I am going out for a meal or when I'm meeting friends for a few quiet drinks.
The shoes look good and they have not shown any signs of wear. The soles are still in good condition as well, which I was pleased about as these are probably the only pair of shoes I have with leather soles and I didn't know how quickly I should expect them to wear.
I like that the heels are not too high, but they are not too low either.
I love that when I choose an outfit I know that these shoes will go with it whether it is a pastel coloured dress or a black one. They are really convenient to have in my collection.
I do love the colour, but it is a tiny bit darker than it appears on the photos online, leaning slightly more towards a light shade of brown. I would have preferred them to be slightly lighter in colour, but I am still very happy with them.
I have quite a few pairs of their shoes, but I think that the Kurt Geiger brand is overrated so I would not have paid the full price of £160.00 for these shoes, but for £29.00 I think they were great value and I am very pleased with my purchase.
