I absolutely love boots and of late I have purchased quite a few pairs! I love catalogues and the ease of paying them back over a few weeks and am a huge fan of Freemans and am a long standing customer of theirs!
Having moved to my own flat clothes and footwear is something that I hadn't bought in a while and I decided late one night and with no reviews on here to write to go mad, online shopping. Sadly for my purse I kept most of what was delivered though to be fair I loved the stuff that turned up...and so did my boyfriend lol.
These boots were actually a pair I ordered 'just to see' them and didn't think that they would be very me! I usually like ankle boots or knee highs and these coming up to my calf...well I didn't know what an earth I'd wear them with...I soon found out mind since they fitted me so nice!
They are a dark and deep even coloured black and basically are fake suede though soft to the touch and very well finished. The heels are small but thin and rubber ended 50mm in total size so not what I would describe as high. They are a firm boot and if you are able to see the photograph on the top of this review page they appear slouchy but those ripples giving off that effect are 'set' and meant to be there. They have long zips to the inner of the boot for ease of getting them on and off and inside they are not cushioned or raised or anything like that.
These boots are simply great. They are pointed though rather heavily so don't pinch my toes. Although not padded inside because the heel is small I find them comfortable enough to wear! They are not waterproof but can withstand splashes and the boots don't 'give' over time.
I have owned and worn these boots for some time now and they still look as good as new cos like I have said they don't 'give' or anything and at £49.00 a pair (sizes from 3-7 and the only half size is 6 and a half) they are classsy hard wearing boot that I love and love great with three quarter trousers, skinny jeans and leggings!
