      Very helpful

So far so good, comfort is A1.

Now I realise that Slippers are not the hottest property out there amongst people these days, but, never the less, there are still a lot of us that do wear them and swear by them. I received these M and S offerings as a Christmas present a few weeks ago, - what a surprise? Slippers for Christmas I hear you say, and having worn them for about four weeks so far, I thought that I would expound forth.

Now I wear slippers all day and every day whilst in the house, consequently I do get through quite a lot of pairs over the course of time.
These particular Marks and Spencer Slippers - "Freshfeet, zigzag, tramline slippers" are to me, one of the most comfortable pairs I have ever owned. They are straight forward, round toed, flat soled; slip ons, which are available in a choice of three colours, Navy, Brown and Grey. All materials used in their construction being man made - what else? They have fancy Zig Zag stitching to the uppers and sides - very flash but totally superficial, along with built in "Freshtech technology to effectively reduce bacteria which causes odour" - really! I wonder what that is when it is at home??????

The most striking thing to me is the depth of the sole, almost an inch deep at the heel. This is what I think makes them so comfortable. My feet just sink into this thick sole, which feels as if it almost moulds itself around my foot; it feels almost akin to a nice pair of gloves. Presumably this has something to do with the Freshtech technology", mentioned above. Incidentally this fancy technology is supposed to keep the slippers fresh, and continue to work after many washes - they are machine washable and can be dried in the Tumble drier.......... Not sure about that one...

They really are so comfortable when walking around that you forget you are wearing them. The mark of a comfortable pair I suppose. I will see how long they last before rushing out to buy another pair, but so far so good.

I have to be honest and say that the quality doesn't really look that special, but time will tell on that front. I have no complaints yet, but will update this review accordingly.
