I have a great pair of slippers for blokes from Marks and Spencer. They are in dark navy blue, though my dear other half swears they are black, but to me I think they are a definite navy, and I was given them for Christmas and I happen to know they cost £6, which I personally think is a pretty good price for a slipper from Marks and Spencer.

These slippers are great for me as they are the slip on variety, which I personally prefer over the totally 'enclosed' type of slipper you can get. I have hot feet but I do like to add some protection to me feet when wandering around my house, especially when I am down in my basement as the cat is often down there and he likes to jump out at my feet and 'attack' them.

The slippers, as I say, are blue in colour and made from 30% cotton and 70% polyester. I usually have to be careful with anything on my feet made with polyester, due to the fact that it can make me perspire a lot. However, this doesn't actually seem to be the case with these slippers at all.

I like the sole of my slippers, which are made of rubber, and this stops me from sliding all over the polished floor out in the conservatory. I don't think they are meant to be machine washable but my wife has put them in the machine at 30 degrees a few times and they have not come apart and they still look fine now.

As they are a slip on mule type of slipper, obviously the back of my foot is exposed but as I am not a person who suffers from cold feet anyway (not even in the coldest winters) this is not a problem for me at all. They are easy to get on and off in a hurry and I slip them on in the dark whenever I need to get up during the night to urinate, as I leave them by the side of my bed.

They fit extremely well and are very comfortable and obviously, being from M&S, they are exceptional quality and I am anticipating that they will continue to be good for some considerable time yet.

Overall, I am well pleased with them and I thoroughly recommend them.

Summary: Great stuff
