      Advantages

      Disadvantages

A smart pair of court shoes

      THE DESIGN

Low heeled court shoes with a patent finish and small bow at the front of the shoe.  The toe has a point and the 2.5 inch heel makes them easy to walk in. They are smart shoes and the type I favour when I have a meeting or if I am working with my older group of ladies who prefer me to wear smart suits instead of the more modern clothes I usually wear for work.

      COMFORT

These are very comfortable to wear. When they were new they pinched my toes a bit but that disappeared quickly and then they were a very good fit.  I have got them in a size 4 and that is accurate for the style. The heel height is perfect if I have got a lot of walking to do or if I am going to be standing for a long time and the shoes are also very supportive for my feet. The soles are quite hard but that's the same with all Marks & Spencer shoes so I sometimes use gel filled insoles for extra comfort.

      DURABILITY

I have had these shoes for a year and wear them at least once a week. They have not stretched and the patent is still shiny with no scratches or dull patches anywhere, the back of one heel has scuffed from where I have been driving but that's not a problem with the shoes.  The toe is still sharp in shape and hasn't scuffed at all. The bow started to look like it was going to fall off but my husband glued it back down and it has been ok since then.

      WHAT I THINK

I do not usually like low heels in this style but these are so comfortable and smart that they are one of my favourite pairs for work. They are quite narrow fitting at the toe but this is not uncomfortable or restrictive.  The heels are both tight to the shoe so they do not wobble as I am walking, the bottoms of the shoes are very slippy with no grips though and that isn't good when you're out.

They are easy to keep clean and will only show up the dirt if it's dusty or muddy, I just clean them with a wet cloth but I don't use soap or shampoo because that can leave marks on the surface of the shoes. The soles look very pitted and dirty but I can't help that.

I like the style because the shoes are classy but I do not feel old fashioned when I am wearing them even though the heel is so low. They look just as good when I wear them with bare legs as if I wear them with tights. I like wearing them with with a skirt suit because I think that's how they look best but if you choose your outfit carefully they can fit with trousers too.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Comfortable, versatile heels

      Style:
These shoes are the type that any shoe addict will instantly want! They're classy, cute, sleek and look well designed. The material is lovely - they have a nice high quality leathery feel to them with a suede finish. The heel's just the right size to wear either during the day or out for the evening as at 2/3 inches they're not awkward to walk in at all. They're nice and sensible but also have a slightly sexy look to them! The bow on the front is rather unusual looking but suits the shoe well and is still nice and really cute, while also adding an extra splash of femininity and uniqueness to the shoes. The tip of the heels is pointed which adds to the look well. They're really easy to just slip on before work and you'll probably forget you're wearing heels - that's how comfy they are! Wondering around town and shopping in these is comfy and my feet don't ache even after an hour or so of window shopping. Inside the shoe it's a peachy colour with a soft leather feel, with 'autograph' written in silver writing. These are the kind of shoe that go with any outfit! I personally wear mine mostly to work with a simple black bodycon and a nice shirt, however i've worn them a few times in my local pub/around town with a party type dress and they look great.

      Comfort:
They're definetly the most comfortable pair of heels in my entire shoe collection! They're lovely and so soft. I've found they support the soles of my feet and my ankles really well and unlike most heels they take the weight off of my toes! They fit like a glove and have adjusted to my feet well, they're also easy to walk about in and i never struggle with any pain from them. They're nice and spacious and my toes never get cramped when wearing them either. The sole seems to grip well. I feel they help my posture as the shape seems to help me stand nice and straight! Marks' also state that these shoes work by helping to move your body weight back to your heel, which helps with balance and body alignment as there's less pressure on the toes and front of the sole. They are also water resistent.

      Options:
Colour wise as far as i'm aware of there's only two colours available and that's deep purple and black. The shoes come in sizes 3-8, including half sizes.

      Pricing:
My local mark's were refurbishing and had them reduced to £30. Full price they're £50, which i'd of certianly paid had they not been on offer due to the high quality and comfort.

Overall Opinion: I'd reccomend them! So comfy, versatile and they're nice and classy with a style that'll never be out of fashion. £50 may seem expensive for a pair of heels but they were really worth every penny. 5 Stars from me!

These are my sensible going to church shoes, by that I do not mean that I put them on every Sunday and go to worship, I'm not a regular church attender, rather these are my go to shoes when attending a Christening or a wedding which are the two main reasons for me to attend church, fortunately the other reason, funerals, has not really played a part in my life so far, however because of the age of my circle of friends the other two seem to occur on a regular basis especially during the summer months.

I paid the best part of £50 for these so I was a bit miffed to see them recently selling for half that amount however I cannot complain as to be honest even at £50 they are worth the money as for a mid heel shoe they are very comfortable and well made.

The bow gives them a youthful feel and prevents them from being a stuffy shoe, this is not something I would usually say about M&S shoes, indeed I think these are the only pair of Mark's shoes that I own. They are a patent black colour with a 6.5cm heel so you are not teetering around but it does give you some extra height and also accentuates your legs.

What has really impressed me is how comfortable these shoes are to wear, I have worn them for a long day that included some dancing and they never rubbed or even left any marks on my feet, they are certainly a well made shoes with a nice design and for the money that have proved to be a good value for money purchase.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

A pair of mid heeled court shoes from Marks and Spencer.

Most girls can be categorised either in terms of whether they're more of a bag girl or a shoes girl. I on the other hand prefer to go against the rule somewhat and would claim to be a bit of both! My main addictions are jewellery and make up but I do have my fair share of bags and shoes too. One of the latest additions to my shoe collection is a pair of Marks and Spencer's shoes that fit into the "work wear" section of my wardrobe.

The Bow Mid Heel Court Shoes are part of the Limited Collection range at Marks and Spencer, it's a mid priced range that offers clothes for females in their late teens up to their thirties - or rather as my mum refers to it as the "younger area where the old biddies never stray!" They're advertised as being both modern and contemporary while complimenting both casual and career wear according to their website advertisement.

The shoes are patent black in colour with a small bow on the pointed toe. They have a very faint snake skin print trim around the shoe and the 6.5cm heel also is covered in the snake skin print trim. Now this may sound incredibly tacky but these shoes are far from it, the animal print is a dark grey and black so it's really subtle. The shoes are court style and are slip on, they're incredibly comfy to wear and haven't hurt my feet at all.

The shoes are currently available in Marks and Spencer stores for £25 which I feel is quite a bargain, I've bought similar shoes before from their more economy range priced at only £15 and they've lasted for months with regular wear. I've not doubt that these shoes will do the same, my only worry is that the plastic heel stud may wear down with continuous wearing but I've found it's quite cheap and easy to have shoes re-heeled.

I would thoroughly recommend these shoes to anybody as they're comfy, fairly priced and fashionable too. The height of the heel means that they can be made to look really glamorous but the heel is small enough to not cause discomfort or pain. The shoes also come in a light pink colour which doesn't really appeal to me but I suppose they would be nice for the summer. These shoes are getting the full five stars from me!

      Thanks for reading!
