Now I'm a girl who loves her killer heels but as summer creeps ever closer my ,mind turns to flip flops. For nice weather you just cant beat them, and wandering around my local Marks and Spencer last week I spotted these, jewel embellished flip-flops. They were available in 3 colour choices. Clear, black, and purple jewels. . They cost me £15.00 which is pretty average for M&S. I bought the silver flip-flops with clear jewels for the simple reason they looked the most sparkly and would go with anything.

The flip-flops are made from synthetic material and the straps are very soft. As I opted for clear jewels the straps on mine are silver but not a bright shiny silver more of a matt colour. They have the usual toe post and 2 straps coming from this to about half way down the sides of the foot. Unfortunately the actual toe post isn't as soft as the straps but I wore these all weekend for the purpose of this review, and I was pleased to note that the toe post did soften very quickly and caused me absolutely no problems.

The base of the flip-flop is a very light brown colour and slightly padded all over so they are very soft under foot. There is a very slight heel, just over a centimetre so really it makes no difference when you are wearing them.

The jewels, which are what drew me to them in the first place, are stitched down the left hand strap. They are designed to look like sparkly buttons and are stitched on with white thread in exactly the same way you would sew a button on.
They are 3 different sizes and the largest 3.5cm's in diameter is placed right by the toe post so when you are wearing them it sits at the base of the big toe and the 2nd toe. The next jewel is 2.5cm's diameter and the third is 2cm's. These jewelled buttons are silver on the underside and really reflect the light and sparkle when you move, and importantly they didn't dig in my feet which does sometimes happen with flip flops.

I bought mine in a size 6, 39.5 euro, and they fit perfectly. The flip flops are an average width and despite being quite generous I think those with extra wide feet would struggle to wear these.

I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend these. They are so pretty and add a bit of sparkle to whatever you wear them with, whether its shorts, skirts or long floaty dresses. They will dress up your outfit for evenings yet look just as good for daytime. I found them to be very comfortable and experienced no rubbing what so ever. The picture that Dooyoo have shown , which is the one on the M&S website, really doesn't do them justice which is a shame because they really are very pretty and deserve the full 5 stars.
