      Girls trainers

I made the huge mistake of putting my daughter in her Roxy trainers when taking her to nursery. One day I picked her up and they had turned green from a felt tip, I wasn't making that mistake again and went on the look out for some cheap trainers to take her to nursery in.

I visited my local Shoezone as I know they sell affordable shoes with mainly good quality and spotted these Mercury trainers, they were perfect. They are available to purchase either in store or online from Shoezone and cost £9.99, I purchased mine on sale with two quid knocked off.

The thing that drew me to these Mercury trainers the most was the design. Although cheap, they still had a nice girly design that appealed to both me and my daughter. They are mainly white with pink on the inside and also on the soles. Down both sides of the trainers are stripes containing a pink floral pattern, this pattern is also found around the back. There are also flowers found on the Velcro straps and on the front. They are definitely girly and have just the right amount of pattern. The shoes feature three Velcro straps to do them up. I prefer Velcro on my daughters shoes as it means she can independently put them on without needing any help from me.

The trainers are available to purchase in sizes infant 4 all the way up to junior 3 so there should be a size to fit most children. My daughter is a size 7, with an average width of an F and these trainers fit her perfectly, she has a little room by her toes and the backs don't fling down when she walks in them.

Like I said, I purchased these as a cheap pair for my daughter to wear to nursery to stop her better shoes getting ruined. She's been using them for a couple of months now and are still in a good condition, these have also been drawn on but I just used a wet wipe on them and it rubbed off straight away. They are beginning to look a little tatty but there is still loads of life left in them.

For the price, I'm pleased with my purchase of these Mercury trainers from Shoezone. The trainers have a cute, girly design, fit my three year old well and are easy to clean any marks off. These are definitely recommended by me.
