“ Brand: Disney / Type: Slippers „
My partner brought me these slippers for my birthday last year my daughter has a pair of Minnie mouse slippers and would always ask where's yours mummy? So he decided it would be a nice gift. Looking around I can see they cost around £6 which I am sure he would have got a discount for as we try never to buy anything at full retail price if possible.
They are lovely looking slippers and come in three sizes small medium and large I have the small slippers and I am a size 4 they fit me but it is a tight fit if I was to purchase again I would go for the medium just to have that extra room. I do not like sizes like this as I find is it difficult to find a size to fit correctly so it is not unusual for me to be in between sizes.
They are pink in colour with a little Minnie mouse sown into the front of them also on the front of the slipper is small buttons and a small bow all of these features together really bring the style together and they look lovely and feminine. The inside of the slipper looks just as nice with a polka dot pattern it sets off the whole slipper nicely for a lovely girly look and the shade of pink is gorgeous.
The inside of the slippers are very comfy they sit nicely on my feet and keep them really nice and snug. They are slightly fluffy on the inside but not too much so that when you first wear them you are left with bits of pink fluff on your feet and although they leave the back of your foot free as the front of you feet is so toasty you barley feel any draft on the back.
On the bottom of the soles are small round grips all over which is essential for grip these are a life safer on my wooden flooring as I have found with some slippers I nearly find myself on my bottom where as these allow me to scoot around my house as fast as I need to for 3 children all under 5. Over time the grip has worn down a little but even so they still provide the grip needed and do a very good job indeed. The soles are rather thick which makes them comfy to walk on and saves my poor feet from the many toys i trip or stand on each day.
My only downside is they are wipe clean only and although my feet are tiny you would think they were size 12 with the way both my partner and children manage to stand on them each and every day. They have became a little dirty not too much as obviously they are for indoor use only at first it was very easy to clean but now coming up to a year you can see the signs of wear and some of the fur looks quite warn on the very front of the toes which has needed cleaned so much.
Over all they are very well made look lovely and have lasted well as I find most Disney products do and the best thing is my daughter just loves mummy having slippers just like hers. After a year of use you can see the signs of wear and if I was not so tight I probably would have got a new pair by now but they still keep my feet warm and do the job they are intended for so I will get some more use out of them yet!
I was after a new pair of slippers and so my sister promised to buy me some for Christmas. I like slippers; as not only are they comfy but I just love them to walk around the hourse. So for me, they need to be very comfortable and of high quality as they certainly get a lot of use from me.
I actually had a look online before hand at some slippers, to see what kind of style I wanted. I prefer the slippers that 'slip on' (you know the mule type ones) as opposed to the 'shoe like' ones. After looking on the 'New Look' and 'Next' websites and being unable to find any that I liked, we came across the 'Disney' website; a brand which I have had good experience with in the past.
Browsing the 'women's slipper' section, I came across these pink ones. At first, I did wonder whether they were children's slippers, but they were under 'women's' and so I took their word for it.

The slippers are pink in colour and have minnie mouse on them; they also have a couple of heart shaped buttons sewn on them which I think gives them a nice effect.
Trying them on, they did feel really strange at first and I was a bit disappointed and thought that I wasn't going to like them. They were quite hard and the part where you put your foot seemed a bit 'unbalanced' as though my feet were on a slope and I was wobbling. Although, this didn't last very long and after around 2-3 weeks of wearing them, they have since 'settled' down.

They are soft, but in a way they are also quite tight and are a snug fit. They wouldn't fall off your feet easily which I suppose is a good thing. However, I do feel that they do feel quite cheaply made...I mean they haven't fallen apart or anything, but they just remind me a bit of the 'cheap' hard slippers you used to get as a child. They have good grips on them and so aren't slippery to walk on which is good.
One thing I like about the slippers is that they are very cute and girlie and so if you are a girlie girl and like Minnie Mouse then you will definetely like this slippers.
I think when my sister bought them, they were around £9 or £12 or something like that. They are now selling on www.disneystore.co.uk for under a fiver which I think is good value for money.
I do like these slippers and would definetely recommend them.
