To add sparkle to an outfit

You may have guessed my now that I am very much a shoe lover. I have a large collection of shoes that probably shouldn't be increasing in size but is. I tend to choose shoes that are more fashionable than comfortable even though I spend most of my time on my feet during the day. I also have a preference for high heels to give me height.

These are party shoes that are pretty new to the Miss KG collection. They are essentially peep toe courts with black sequins all over the shoe. The peep toe is wider/ more open than other peep toes I have. At first I wasn't sure if the peep toes where too wide as sometimes my feet do slip forward, but it wasn't a problem. They come in a silver colour also but I have the black colour as I didn't like the silver colour. It looked like the colour had been drained.

The shoes are not made from leather or any other animal derived products so are suitable for vegetarians. The upper lining is made from a textile material and is covered with sequins. The sequins do bounce light off them and give some sparkle that is subtle and not at all trashy. I do however get worried that the sequins may fall off and this would not be good at all. I do get paranoid that one of the strings will get court and then they will all fall off.

The heels are a high 4 inches and there is a slight platform for support but it is barely visible. The heel is quite thin and as much as I wish they were comfortable for the whole night, they're not. They are comfortable for about 3-4 hours but for longer than that then your feet will hurt. Especially if you will be dancing in them. They would be fine for dinner but if going to a party they do take their toll. I think that these are more party shoes but I would wear them to dinner if it matches.

These cost £75 and are available from ASOS, Debenhams and The house of fraser.
