I saw these on ASOS when I was browsing through there Miss KG selection and the design of the shoes grabbed my attention. I am very fond of peeptoes and strappy sandals. Initially I was not going to get them but then I decided that because I shall be going on holiday soonish I should get them. I can't do last minute shopping because I need to know that I have done everything in advance otherwise I panic. These have a very slight wedge so they aren't completely flat. They are a mix of matte gold and black which really works well together. The sandals are strappy as in they have horizontal gold lines across the shoe up to the ankle. There is a single black band in the middle that gives the shoes definition and style. The black band is made from a textile material which basically means it is made from a fabric and I do find that it does attract dust and small particles. This can make the shoes look a little old and it may look like wear and tear even though they have been once or twice. The gold bands are made from a rubbery material and if you feel them they do feel like rubber. The soles feel quite hard and stiff. When I put them it feels like I am walking on a very thin carpet that has been worn down. It does feel comfortable and I haven't experience any pain from wearing them for long periods, it's just that I think they could have made the soles more comfortable than they are. There is a zip on the back at the ankle which can be unzipped to get into the shoes. I bought these from ASOS and I got 20% because of my brothers NUS card so I paid a reasonable £44.00 (£55.00 normal price). They are very simple but I like the simplicity of the shoes which is what I really need for when I go on the beach. These are also available from Debenhams and Kurt Geiger stores but they are slightly more expensive at £60.
