Although the shoes are made from a synthetic material they do not have much of a scent to them and certainly do not smell like plastic in the way a lot of shoes in this price range do. The appearance of the shoes is also very good for such a cheap pair of shoes. The shoes are described to be leather look and I would definitely say this is true. I do have a large number of high heels and shoes that are not practical for everyday wear in my collection but I do have a number of more practical flat shoes that are suitable for running around after two young toddlers on a daily basis.
