New Look is my favorite high street shop and they often have a brilliant range of flats. These ones caught my eye with the glittery sequins and as they cost only £15 I decided to get them.

These flats looks absolutely gorgeous and really caught my eye in the shop. They are available in at least two colours; black and cream. They are completely covered with silver sequins with a subtle floral pattern design underneath. The opening of the shoe is surrounded with a black fabric rim that highlights the sequins and at the front of the shoe is a cute black bow. The sequins shine really nicely when they catch the light and look brilliant.

These shoes, like most flats, are really comfortable. When I first put them on they felt a bit stiff but this soon goes after you wear them in. The end of the flats are curved in shape so that the toes fit nicely and are not squeezed together. The soles are rather thin and don't give a huge amount of support although flats are not meant to be worn for heavy use so this is to be expected. There are groves in the sole which give a certain amount of grip but not a lot and they can be a bit slippy on certain surfaces. They were a firm fit while still being comfortable although there was a bit of rubbing of the back of the shoe against my heel but this seemed to improve after I had worn them in.

The simple design means they are very versatile and go with pretty much anything. I wear mine most often with skinny jeans and a T-shirt. The black and silver colouring also means that any dirt stains don't show up as obviously as lighter shoes.

These are quite cheap and as a result they are not very durable. I wear mine several times a week and after about 2 months there were definite sings of wear. Some of the sequins came loose while others became bent or tatty. The colour wasn't as bright as when I first brought them. Despite this they look great and have been good value.
