“ Brand: New Look / Type: Clogs „
I've loved clogs since I saw Sandy wearing them in Grease. When I saw these fabulous clogs in New Look I asked my self can I afford them? and Do I need them?| Answers, well they were reduced from £24.99 down to £10.00 so yes I could afford them, and did I need them? Well 1 out of 2 isn't bad so I got them!
These clogs are right up to the moment fashion wise and come in a choice of 2 colours, Russet or Cedar, very autumnal. I went for the Russet or chocolate brown as I would say. The Cedar are more of a very pale beige colour.
I fitted on a size 6 which I usually have and they were fine so the sizing on them is good. As I said I chose the darker ones. They are a lovely rich dark chocolate brown colour.
The uppers of the clogs are made of suedette and have a gorgeous sheepskin fur trim round the edge. The base and heel are wooden which is paler in colour than the upper part of the clog. They have stud details round the edge of the suedette which along with the fur trim really make the clogs look great.
Although these clogs have quite high heels they are not as bad as they look due to the platform. One of the things I really like about them is that they have amore rounded toe instead of being too pointed. I don't mind pointed toes but its nice to have a little extra room in shoes sometimes. These clogs would suit someone with a wider a foot.
I did get a small dirty mark on one of them but I rubbed it with a damp sponge and it cleaned up ok. I don't personally think the lighter coloured ones would be very practical especially in winter weather.
All in all I love my fur trimmed clogs. They are nicely balanced and I have no problems walking in them. They are comfy and look fantastic with skinny jeans. I think they are easily worth the £10.00 I paid for them, I'm not sure I would have paid the full price but with New Look you very rarely have to.
I am giving the Fur Trimmed Clogs the 5 stars they deserve!

I just couldn't help myself when I saw these furry trimmed clogs for a bargain price of £10 reduced from £24.99 pence. Both sheepskin and clogs and in fashion this season but the fact that they are super comfortable and look great with jeans are more the reasons why I handed over an orange note to the cashier.
The heel is pretty high and therefore these wouldn't be suitable for everyone. They are not shoes designed to walk a long way in but because of the hidden platform the heel doesn't seem as high as it would do normally.
They seem to be pretty well made and the overall look of the clog/shoe is very good. The soft upper of the shoe is not ideal for wet weather as they do get soaked and can lead to a little damp foot. However they do still seem to keep the toes warm and snug whilst looking good which is needed as they are slip on shoes without a back!
The suadette upper of the shoe is hard to keep as clean as when first purchased but they do wash up well with a clean rag and a touch of washing up liquid. The rounded toe is fastened to the clog type sole of the shoe by what appears to be small bronze type tacks and these seem to do the job well.
The shoes look really good with both skinny jeans or boot flare jeans but really need to be worn without socks on and seeing as I have fairly wide feet I thought this would be a good thing. However the clog/shoes generally seem to be made on the wider side as there is plenty of room inside the shoe but this doesn't mean the slip of the foot when walking they just feel comfortable and don't pinch but if you have thinner feet this may well not be the case.
Of course Himself didn't think I needed any more shoes but really just because he has four pairs (work shoes, golf shoes, going out shoes and one pair of trainers) he doesn't understand the complexities of a woman's wardrobe (or mine at least). I probably didn't NEED the shoes/clogs but they look good and they were £10!!! They were a bargain to be had and I was going to have them!
I think I have to give them a good 4 out of 5 star rating and a recommendation. They look good and were a great price. They are well made and comfortable to wear (if not walking miles). Okay so they are not great if it is raining, if you plan to walk a long distance or going to work but I am sure I have already got my £10's worth out of them as I have worn them a good deal more than other shoes I own (don't tell Himself).
A nice shoe!
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest you
