      flat shoes by New Look

While on a shopping trip at the weekend I was picking up a few bits and pieces for myself and needed some new comfortable shoes which is why I went into New Look. They have a good range of well priced shoes that are stylish and good quality, I normally don't go for this style of shoe but it is quite 'in' at the moment and actually they had so many styles that I was swayed to give them a go and see how they went. The main purpose was to get shoes for work so these fit the bill perfectly as well as me actually liking the look of them on.

To look at these shoes they are round at the front of the toe and are black and made of real leather. At the to area they have a black tassel detail which adds a little something to the overall look and they look really stylish. The leather is smooth and the sole of the shoe is made of thick black rubber and inside doesn't have the most expensive or luxurious lining but I just put some insoles in them just to add to the look of the shoe.

These shoes are flat and at first to look at I wondered what I could wear these with but really they go with anything being flats. You could wear them with smart trousers or tapered as New Look have recommended and with a nice blouse or with a dress. You could also wear these with shorts or a nice skirt and top, really they will be the kind of shoes you'll want in the winter, thick leather that won't get soaked if it rains and you get caught out, these will prepare you well for a walk down the street in comfort.

These shoes at first when I wore them, I wanted to break them in and so I wore them for a few hours and I'm glad I did as they rubbed on the back of my heel at first. Nothing too painful but just what you'd expect from all new shoes. However, I have been wearing these to work on long days and now they are comfortable and fine on my feet as I have broken them in. They are that comfortable you hardly notice them on and they give enough room at the front for your toes to move around.

After having worn these for a good few weeks now, I can safely say I've worn them in wind and rain and on sunny days and still not a tell tale sign of wear. I haven't notice any creases in the leather or any scuff marks on the front of the shoe. They really are looking good as new and for what I paid I am very pleased as even the rubber soles are standing their ground and looking very clean and perfect still which is nice and the inside of the shoe isn't too worn looking.

I picked the perfect shoe to wear at work as these just seems to mould to your foot and are really good quality. They are not the most expensive looking shoe but they are practical with a stylish flair and I feel proud to walk around in these. They just back my view that New Look continue to make the best shoes on the high street for the prices you are paying and I will gladly be buying another pair of shoes from them next time I need some.

These shoes stood out to me as they were only £15 reduced from £24.99 which is a bargain and they come in all sizes up to a 9. The website only has select few sizes left but I got mine in store. Students are getting 20% off at the moment online and in store so if you have a student card, then this is the time to shop.
