I am a second year student who is very involved in event planning for example organising society balls, halls of residence socials as well as the more career forward presentations by CEOs of top companies. So, as you can imagine, smart heeled shoes at a low price are essential for me! Not only do I organise such events but in order to insure they run smoothly, I attend and manage them.
Until I discovered New Look's shoe range I struggled to find shoes that would fit properly, look smart as well as stylish and that I could afford! With all of the events I have attend to keep up my society involvement I found it difficult to ensure I had a shoe that would go with every outfit. And quite often I get to wrapped up organising the event that I forget about what I would wear and it often results in a last minute rush to the nearest shop. That is how I discovered New Look shoes.
I bought these shoes two and a half months ago whilst looking for something to go with a striped shift dress. And they have been endlessly useful ever since!
The nude shade seems to go with almost every outfit that I choose which not only saves me the hassle of going to find new shoes in specific shades to match but saves me money!
Usually I am a UK size 5 but I found that with these heels (and with all of the shoes I buy from New Look), the UK size 4 fits much better. When working at an event it used to be a struggle running around in heels and whilst these heels are high, the snug, well fitting size 4 meant I could run around in them like they were flat! Even after busy nice such as those, there has been very little damage to the tip of the heel which can usually be damaged so easily.
What's more, the thick platform lessens the pressure the high heel can put on the ball of my feet, making them comfortable to wear for hours. I've never encountered the ever daunting swelling or aching in my feet usually caused by high heels when wearing these shoes.
The patent leather makes them easy to clean. I recently attended an outside ball which left these shoes covered in mudd but it came off simply with some warm water.
I'm going on holiday soon and plan to pack light so these comfortable, smart heels are perfect since they go with everything!
Definitely a great choice. They're value for money at a measly £20 (and New Look offer a 10% student discount), smart, easy to clean and comfortable.
