      a great shoe

==Next Boys Lace Up Grey Plimsolls==

Jack has a ton of various shoes that either my mum or my mother in law will buy for him. Of course I have to get him his boring old school shoes and they get the pleasure of buying nicer shoes at a fraction of the price.

I do however love the Next shoes that they do for boys and even their women's shoes I have been known to buy a few pairs! This pair of grey plimsolls from Next is super cool and Jack loves to wear them. My mum purchased them for him luckily when I was with her so we were able to get the right size and make sure they weren't too thin as Jack's feet are a slightly wider than the average.

However at £9 I felt that these shoes were a real bargain and I must said that when we bought them last year we have certainly had our monies worth from them and they are still going strong (luckily I bought a size up and Jack seems to be due for a growth spurt anytime).

They fit really well and I have done the laces so Jack can just slide them on and not have to tie the laces up at all and these rarely need sorting out. The grey material seems to go with most things from joggers to jeans and even his shorts. They are made of a soft canvas type material which means that they are super comfortable for his little feet to wear but of course are not especially water proof so he hasn't been able to wear them much these last couple of months.

They need cleaning quite often too but with a touch of washing up liquid and water they do come up nice and clean and even after over a year they don't look too battered like some of the other shoes we have had for Jack.

All in all I have to say that these shoes not only look good but are comfortable and practical and Jack looks good wearing them and like to wear them too. They go with most outfits, fit nicely and didn't cost too much money. I should think he only has a very short time left to wear them before they don't fit but I would be more than happy to buy him another pair of a larger size as they represent such good value for money.

I think a top score of 5 out of 5 stars and a very high recommendation s well deserved.

I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you

Many thanks for taking the time to read.

        I really like these!

I think if there has been a craze of any shoes over the past twelve months or so it has been for canvas pumps. Boys, girls, men and women can all be seen wearing then in a vast variety of colours and despite me owning some myself it wasn't really something I had considered buying for my son despite lots of nagging from my younger and apparently trendier sister!

When my son turned five however, his auntie and uncle arrived with a birthday gift which turned out to be some cute grey pumps from next!

The pumps are made from a grey canvas material and have a chunky white rubbery sole. Despite the chunky sole they do feel quite flexible to the touch and so I felt comfortable in allowing my son to wear them. The pumps came with matching grey laces already threaded through but they also had a little bag with a pair of neon green laces too. Almost immediately my son had me changing the "boring" grey laces to the "cool" green ones but I have to say they do go well with the grey and compliment them quite well.

I believe these pumps cost £9.00 from next and they are still available to buy online in sizes 4-12.

My son wears these pumps with jeans and a trendy top and I do feel that it really does look quite trendy and cool. However, he can also wear the pumps with jogging pants instead of his usual trainers which according to my sister is THE thing to do! This also looks very cool!

Obviously any canvas type shoe is not going to be ideal in the rain as you will soon end up with soggy socks! You should also avoid mud with these shoes on. These are obviously more of a dry sunny day shoe! However, on a trip out with his Dad my son did manage to get his pumps covered in mud and so I decided to risk washing them in the washing machine and I was really pleased when they came out looking as good as new!

My son seems comfortable in these shoes and they feel quite lightweight and so I think they are a great buy for some casual shoes. My only slight niggle is that the laces can come undone quite easily as they are quite long. This doesn't really detract from a nice casual shoe though and so for that reason I still award the shoes five stars!

Thank you for reading my review!
