“ Brand: Next / Type: Boots „
I suggested this product to Dooyoo, however the link was too long and the ones they have chosen aren't the kids ones that I bought but they are a little similar so I will review the ones I bought as best I can and hope you can picture them!
I was looking for some new shoes for my daughter and originally I had decided to look for some casual pump type shoes but when searching on the Next website I came across some gorgeous little boots which I immediately fell in love with.
The boots are made from a thick wool and they are a pull on boot. The only available colour is a caramel colour which I think is a little unfortunate. At the top of the boot there is a large button on the outside rim, and at the base just above the heel is a suedette patch of fabric. The soles of the boots are a thick rubber with a suedette trim, and though it is very thick they are completely flexible for full comfort when the child is walking. As the sole is so thick I think they will give very good wear so should last quite a long time! When wearing the boots, they come up to around my daughters calves and so they keep her feet really warm which is important with the cold snap we are currently in!
The cost of the boots depends on the size you are purchasing, sizes 3-6 are £14 and 7-12 are £16 which initially seemed like a large amount to pay for a pair of boots but since seeing the quality of them I think that is a really good price.
I am unsure whether the boots are available in store as I haven't been in a Next store recently but they are available on www.next.co.uk and if they are in stock you will receive them the following working day.
So, are they good boots? In a word, yes! I love the style of the boots, and they are really trendy. They can be worn with many different outfits and there are different ways to wear them - they look fab with leggings, with jeans/pants tucked in or with the pants legs over the boots. Either way I think they look fab. I have asked my daughter if they are comfortable and she says they are, although she isn't too keen when her jeans are tucked in the boots which is a shame as thats how I like them best!
We have had the boots for around two months or so now and so far they are showing no sign of any wear whatsoever and they have been worn at some point most days. I wouldn't recommend putting them on your child when it is raining (or has been raining) as of course they aren't waterproof and I would be worried that they get spoilt. My daughter loves jumping in puddles (as do all children) so I think this could damage the boots.
One thing I was a little worried about was the feeling that the boots could affect my daughters walking. I am forever seeing people in Ugg boots (or copies of them) and they seem to be walking to one side with the boots being all bent in and apart from that looking unattractive and uncomfy it surely can't be great for the feet! Thankfully this hasn't been an issue with these boots and if they did start to go like that then it would be the end of them for my daughter.
All in all I think these are fantastic little boots, reasonably priced and look so cute and trendy on a toddler. I would happily buy another pair of these in a larger size before they go out of stock as I do like them that much.
I give the Next Knit Pull On Boots a full five out of five Dooyoo stars.
Thank you for reading my review :)
