A while back I got into tennis in a big way. However, I noticed that it was placing a large strain on both my ankles. A friend of mine recommend these Nike Finstar's, despite the fact that they were advertised as mens trainers. I have purchased mens trainers in the past, so this was not an issue for me. I tried the trainers and have only positive comments to make about them.

The appearance of the trainers is very cool. There is a double side stripe, a side signature logo (of the Nike tick) and a stitched logo tag positioned on the tongue and heel. Very cool! For my trainers, the logos are all black, with the main leather of the trainer coloured white. The trainer has a smooth finishes and is nice to touch.

The best aspect of this trainer, which makes it ideal for tennis, is the sides of the trainer which provides optimal ankle support. This support is backed up by superb grip on the bottom of the trainer, making it almost impossible to turn your ankle when you are changing direction.

The padding on the bottom of this trainer is very thick and allows a high level of comfort. Again this is ideal for any type of leisure activity.

These trainers use laces to tighten around your foot. These laces can be removed and adjusted if necessary. Some people like having laces hiden within their trainer, like I do, so these trainers are perfect for this.

Cleaning the trainers is simple, as the material (leather) cleans with just a bit of water and a rag. If you are deparate to clean them well put them in a pillow case and throw them in the washing machine.
