I have a rather large amount of shoes in my collection and whilst I am not someone that tends to buy a lot of shoes, I just don't tend to throw my old ones away, even when they are close to being worn out and I have brought new ones! The shoes that I am going to be reviewing today are my Nine West Amped Up shoes and I brought them some time ago now but after having a clear out of my wardrobe I have dug them back out and I have been wearing them to work (Although considering we still have snow on the ground, I don't wear them to walk to work in!) Here are my thoughts on the shoe.


I brought these from a Kurt Geiger outlet at my local shopping centre. Although they are the Nine West brand they came from here as they are a stockist for them. At full price they will cost around the £110.00 price tag but I had them on a sale day and they cost me £75.00 which even though rather expensive, I felt this was a good reduction in price and as I am now getting good wear out of them, the price then starts to justify itself in my opinion.


The shoes are a classic looking nude patent wedge heel. The first thing that I thought about them was just how classy looking they were, they would be perfect for wearing in the office as well as teaming with different outfits for nights out. The front of the toe is also cut away so these make the cutest peep toe look as well, another look that I really like so these shoes ticked a lot of my favourite boxes. I can't remember the exact sizes that these shoes were available in but I take a size 8 and I think they went down to a size 3. Because there is a wedge heel with these I don't think they look to clumpy in the bigger sizes.


When I first tried wearing these shoes, I took them into the office, they are long and quite narrow but I didn't notice that they pinched at all, because the toes are quite rounded I did notice that after having them on for couple of hours they pinched at first but after persevering they soon became really comfy. I have worn the shoes, which a have a lovely cream lining with tights and barefooted and they are very comfy. The shoes didn't rub at all at the back so after a couple of goes with these I was really pleased.


Do not let the tall platform, at its highest it is about 10cm but it really doesn't feel like this and I am the first to say I am not a fan of tall heels but these are really well supported by the platform. For me personally, they start to feel a little uncomfortable if I do a lot of walking in them, so if you are going to be standing on a night out them for me they are a little un-comfy but sat down in a restaurant they are brilliant.


Because these go well with so many different outfits, I I think you can most definitely get your wear out of them. This also then gives you good value for money as the price begins to justify itself. I would be happy to recommend the shoe.
