A lovely pair of sandals for when or if we everet any sun

I am not normally one for flat shoes although I do own a few they were more spur of the moment puchases or for wearing around the house or driving. However last summer I decided I wanted a pair of pretty flat sandals for walking around in as I wanted to be comfortable for a change.
I looked in all my usual hgih street haunts for pair but couldn't find any that particularly spoke to me. I found these Naomi sandals in Office which is not normally a shop I go into very often but as soon as I saw them I knew they were the one's I wanted.

They cost me £25 which was more than I had wanted to spend on a pair of sandals but after wearing them for nearly the whole summer I do think that they were worth the money for a variety of reasons.
First of all they are incredibly comfortable and it doesn't matter if I wear them for an hour or for 8 hours my feet remain pain free for the entire day. When I first purchased them the little bar that goes between the toes did give me a little bit of trouble but this stopped after wearing them a couple of times so I assume it was just the material needing to soften up a little.
The sole is quite ridgid and helps cushion my feet against any little stones or bumps in the road and I like the cork effect it has.

Other than being comfortable they are very well made and much better quality than some of the other cheap ubbish one's I was looking at that would have lasted me a couple of months if I had been lucky. Although I have wore these lot's of times they are still in immaculate condition and none of the stitching is lose and there is no fear of the sole coming away from them.

When I bought them they also had the sandals in black and also silver but I opted for the gold coloured one's. Now the gold won't be to everyone's taste as they do look a tad Vegas but this appealed to me and I thought the silver was pretty but the black was a little dull for my liking.
The gold colour may be a little OTT but they go well with jeans and also dresses and skirts and are the perfect accompaniment to a variety of outfits.

I love my sandals and whilst I did originally baulk a little at paying £25 for them I am now glad that I did as I know they are going to last me for a long time and will hopefully still be looking good in a couple of years. I just can't wait until we actually have some sun so I can start to wear them again.

        Cheap and quality sandals

        Office Naomi Slingback

I don't shop regularly at office unless I know I need some smart shoes for work. I don't buy my summer footwear from here but when I was out in the winter sales I saw some sandals for £5 and thought it was a bargain. It was £25, so that's a 80% reduction is price. I don't think they are really worth £25 but they are definitely dirt cheap at £5.

These come in 4 different colours; gold, silver, black and red. At first I was going to get the black one but then when I put them on I could see that the colour was too harsh. I decided the gold colour was better. They are perfect as holiday sandals as they are light and simple. I like that they are slingbacks rather than having no back so they don't slip of my feet.

The soles are a caramel colour and have grip but after using it for a week it becomes worn. The upper material is like PVU and shinny rather than matt. I would have prefered if it was matt. The soles are also made from a PVC type material and have a light brown pattern. I like the design at the front which is sometimes called a 'thong' design and that is the reason I bought the sandals. Also another important reason I really like them is that they have a back to them and because they are not heeled they would fall of all the time without a back.

I bought these from the office store but they are available online and at amazon.

A nice light sling back sandal

My Office Naomi Sling back Sandals were a cheap bargain buy in the sales. I find that for summer wear around the home a simple pair of light sandals are always a good buy. When I came across these they were for sale in a number of colour options including silver, red, gold and black.

The pair that I bought were the silver ones as they are fairly light and simple to look at so I thought they would go with a good number of outfits. The previous selling price for these sandals was £25 which I feel is very high indeed for such a simple little shoe. However once reduced the price came down to £5 per pair, which makes them a very good buy when compared to other flip flop style sandals.

        **********************************************************
The sandals were not listed on Dooyoo, but have been added here today so can now be discussed. Office have stores on the high street and also sell online on their own site and also via Amazon UK. These little sandals are still on sale and are a good budget purchase that would be handy to put away for holidays etc. I can recommend them as they are light and easy to wear.

The uppers of the sandals is made to mimic leather and I think it does a fair job of doing that, except in the gold version which does look a little too synthetic. My silver versions of the sandals are attractive to look at and feel very light when on my feet. I haven't noticed them rubbing at the heel at all which is a bonus as very often sling backs can cause a bit of blistering there when new.

        **********************************************************
The soles of the sandals is made from synthetic material to mimic a kind of cork sole effect, it even looks very lightly textured and this does add to the over all look and feel. The edges of this part of the shoe are well stitched and have a very lightly spongy feel even though the over all feel of the sole is rather slim, it does give a good amount of comfort.

The shoes have a simple slip on sling back strap fitting, so that they don't need to be buckled up and can be simply slipped on over the back of my heel. There is an elasticated piece at the back of the strap, which makes for easier fitting when putting the sandals on or off, this is something I like about them.

        **********************************************************
The under sole of the shoes is made from a light material that has a good amount of stability and some flex to it. This makes for a more comfortable feel which is enhanced by the very minimal heel at the back of the sandal. I find that these certainly look better than many rubber soled flip flop types of shoes and so I would certainly recommend them as a nice alternative.

The sizes range from size 3 up to size 9 and I found that I was fine picking a pair in usual my size. Whilst I wouldn't want to pay the pre sale price for these shoes, I would say that at the sale price of £5 they are a great value buy. As such my rating for them is 4 stars.
