THE DESIGN Slippers for children that cover the whole foot and reach highly up the back of the foot. They fasten with a large velcro strap that is a contrasting dark pink. On the top of each slipper is a picture of Peppa Pig in her nightdress and holding her teddy. The slippers are made of a very soft fabric and have a think rubber sole. COMFORT My daughter is six and is a size 10 in shoes. I bought her these in a size 9 because they are quite large and the style needs a snug fit. She walks around in them and they move with her feet without slipping up and down as she steps. The sole is effective and stops her slipping, it's a smooth sole with no grips but the rubber is good quality and doesn't slide on the floor at all. WHAT I THINK These are very nice slippers and I think they are good for any little girl even if they do not watch or know Peppa Pig. Peppa Pig is a very sweet character who appeals to very young children so the slippers are available in children's sizes 4 - 10. They are easy for my daughter to put on herself and they do not come off unless the velcro strap is undone so they won't slip off as she is walking. The toe is very round so her toes aren't squashed as she walks. The back of the slippers aren't tough and are starting to crease down after 3 months wear but that doesn't matter because she is starting to grow out of them now anyway! WHAT MY DAUGHTER THINKS She has worn slippers from when she was a baby so is used to them, she likes the style of these and also that she can put them on easily herself because the front of the slippers bend down deeply. She knows of Peppa Pig but does not watch the show often, this doesn't spoil her enjoyment of the slippers at all but my niece who is a lover of Peppa Pig likes to wear them when she comes around to play. DURABILITY These slippers have lasted for 3 months and still fit my daughter. There is a bit of creasing on the fabric but the seams and sole are still sound. My daughter only wears them inside the home because I think the sole would not be strong enough for outdoor wear. I have washed them in the washing machine three times and they have not been damaged or lost their colour. 5 Dooyoo Stars.
Hollie has unfortunately inherited my clumsiness and falls over constantly. Our living room floor is laminate and she seems to trip, slip or lose her balance constantly because she refuses to wear shoes or slippers in the house. She needed something with grip so I searched the net for something she would like and something that would have a little bit of grip. The slippers: ================= These slippers have a plastic image of Peppa and her Teddy on the front showing Peppa wearing her pyjamas. They are pink with a velcro strap to hold feet in. I wanted to get Hollie something with a back so they wouldn't fall off her feet or cause more accidents that before. I found these and another pair whilst scrolling through Amazon. I paid £3.50 for these slippers along with another pair which were more like boots. When the arrived I noticed the size 8 I had purchased seemed to fit her perfectly. Hollie told me they were very comfortable and she was happy enough to wear them. The bottom of the slipper has a concertina effect in the spongy rubber sole which will help Hollie with her clumsiness. I have already noticed a significant difference when she is tearing around the living room or dancing along to the theme tune of Peppa Pig on the TV. The fabric is stiff and fluffy and is good to hold little children's feet inside. The tongue of the slipper is quite annoying at times as it becomes hard to do the velcro up unless the tongue is completely flat. The back of the slipper is a little difficult to get on but once you have got it on, you can notice they are very sturdy for children. The velcro is easy enough to pull off and on and even Hollie can do it now. She does struggle to get the back of her slipper on so I have to help with that, but otherwise, she loves them. Why did I choose these? =================== I thought Peppa Pig for Hollie would be an excellent choice and she could enjoy wearing them. I also didn't want to buy something too expensive as I knew they would be grown out of by the time winter comes round and I would need to purchase more. £3.50 is an excellent price and I will definitely be buying more of these in the next size up when Hollie needs a size 9. Hollie did complain that they weren't Buzz Lightyear or Ben 10 when she opened the parcel as she does like boys things rather than girls but I did mention these were much better and she agreed. Where can you buy them? ================== I got mine from Amazon.co.uk for £3.50 (plus some postage) but I also spotted them a few weeks later in the shop called QD for £3.99. They seem to be the same slipper so if your popping along to one of those shops, it might be worth having a look at the slippers for children as these ones were excellent for what I needed for Hollie. Thanks for reading my review Helen190390
my two older daughters get through shoes and slippers like they are going out of fashion so although they are a little too old for pepper pig now when i saw these in a sale at just £2 a pair i brought them. little did i know they would be such a great purchase. they are available in sizes 5 to 11 which i was a bit disapointed that they dont do them any smaller as jessie is only a size three so couldnt have any but never mind. the upper is made out of a fleece type material that wears realy well, my daughters have had these 5months now and they have lasted well with daily wear , the fleece part has become a little bobbly now but thats to be expected after so much use, the soles are still sturdy enough and have little wear to them, i love the way these fasten on with velcro as with other styles of slippers i have worried about them causing the children to fall on the stairs when they are up and diown but with these they fit tightly so i dont have to worrry. my daughters have never complained about these hurting them even after wearing them all day so they must be very comfortable too. for the price these were well worth the money and even at full price i would recomend them weather your child is a fan of the show or not as they are great quality.
I bought these Peppa Pig slippers for my three year old daughter last year, they were in a closing down sale and although the pair I bought were originally too big I knew she'd quickly grow into them. And she did, by February her feet had grown and she was proudly wearing her Peppa slippers. She'd still be wearing them now, but they've honestly had far too much wear and sadly won't last much longer. February to the start of May might not sound too impressive, but it's better than you think as Hollie is notoriously hard on slippers so (believe me) this isn't a bad lifespan! Hollie isn't much of a fan of Peppa Pig, she's just always preferred other programmes and characters. This is an important point as it shows to me that she's wearing these particular slippers because of how comfortable they are, not due to a penchant for the featured character. As Hollie doesn't watch too much Peppa Pig, by default I don't know much about it either! Peppa is a sweet looking little thing, pictured here in her nightie and holding her teddy - an obvious bedtime pose which unfortunately never once helped me to convince Hollie to have an early night! The slippers are very obviously designed for girls, two shades of pink with a more feminine design overall than character slippers which are more unisex in style. The rubber sole is also pink, it's a very good sole actually which is more non-slip than it looks. It also blends in with the look of the slipper, something which is personally important to me as a pet hate is seeing a bright white sole next to brightly coloured fabric. The Velcro strap makes these slippers good for small children; once you've undone the strap the two sides of the slipper open quite wide, this makes it easier for Hollie to slide her feet in and out of the slippers without help. The Velcro is good quality and has kept its stickiness, occasionally I have to clear hairs and general 'bits' to perk the effectiveness of the Velcro up but I'm used to that with my daughters' long hair by now! The inside of the slippers are slightly furry, which makes them very comfortable, and the body of the slippers is also padded so this provides even more comfort and support for your little one. I can tell just by watching Hollie walking around and sitting in these slippers that they are perfect for her, and this isn't just the fact that the sizing is spot on but also because of the supportive shape of them. Let me quickly tell you a bit about Hollie's slipper habits. She doesn't understand the difference between indoor and outdoor footwear; therefore these have not only been worn in the house, but also the garden - in the mud. They've been through the washing machine at least ten times and this hasn't done them much good, resulting in small holes near where the fabric of the slipper meets the sole. It doesn't take a master shoe-maker to know that this is going to spell the death of the slippers, asooner rather than later. For what I paid (£3.99) I'm not fussed as she's got plenty more pairs' of slippers, and despite the relative good quality of this Peppa Pig pair they have a throw-away feel which means I won't lose any sleep when they finally go the the great slipper shop in the sky.
Both my daughters are peppa pig mad, i can see the attraction and i even like watching the peppa pig dvds. Christmas eve 2010 i bought them matching peppa pig pink pyjamas so i decided to buy them the slippers to match plus we have laminate flooring nice but freezing to walk on in winter they were in need of slippers. Having struggled in the past to actually get my daughters to wear and keep slippers on in the house i thought a favourite character may be the best way forward. I bought the peppa pig slippers from a store called sports direct , they also have an online shop too worth a look as sports direct do loads of kids character clothing at cheap prices. The peppa pig slippers cost only £3.99 and are really good quality for the money. Peppa pig slippers are for toddlers and come in sizes from 4 to 10. Both my daughters were a size 8 last december and the slippers so dinky. The peppa pig slippers are two shades of pink, light and dark with peppa pig motif on the front, peppa is holding her teddy bear. Made from soft fleece and cotton on the upper and have some foam soles on the bottom with rubber trim giving good grip on the laminate flooring. The heal has elastic around the ankle to give a snug fit and have a velcro fastener across the front to tighten the slipper if a little loose. I think the slippers are well made, comfy, warm, give nice grip too. I really like them and worth the few pounds spent. The peppa slippers were a hit with my daughters and they loved them. Only one did i have to wash a set as Jess had worn them out in the garden and got a bit mucky, i did machine wash them and let to air dry. The slippers have lasted well considering the girls wear them everyday. Peppa slippers are nice warm and reasonably cheap so i highly recommend them.
My youngest daughter is a huge fan of Peppa Pig amongst other children's TV shows so I purchased her a pair of Peppa Pig Night Night Slippers for just £2.49 from Ebay. As soon as they were delivered my daughter was holding out her feet for me to put them on for her. She's only a toddler so obviously she is not quite at the age where she can do everything for herself yet. These slippers are very cute, pink in colour with lots of detail on them. There is a Peppa Pig on the front of the slippers, Peppa Pig logo on the back, and on the Velcro strap it says 'night night'. There is a lot of detail on these slippers and my daughter seems to love picking at the logo and the other pieces and so far they have withstood the toddler test. There is a rubber sole on the bottom that gives plenty of grip. The slippers are a soft, padded material and they are very warming for my daughters feet. The Velcro strap helps to ensure that the slippers stay on if she is walking around the house in them and she can even go up and down the stairs in these without too much worry, and with supervision of course. The strap means I can tighten them up if I want to stop my daughter wriggling out of them but I don't normally do this as she will just keeping pulling the strap until they come loose. My daughter is becoming quite clever at undoing the Velcro herself but the Velcro has stayed sticky and always holds in place each time I do them up. I am really pleased with the quality of these slippers. My daughter loves them because they are pink and have Peppa Pig on them and I love them because they keep her feet warm and I get to give her a little cuddle each time I put them on for her as they are her favourite shoes. These shoes are still in good condition even though they have been worn almost every morning and at various times around the house. These shoes are cute and they are pink which is my daughters favourite colour. Also, these slippers get my daughter more interested in dressing herself and picking out clothes in the morning ready to go with what footwear she wants to wear so it makes my life just a little easier when we are having a busy day.
I bought the peppa pig slippers last year for my daughter she was 4 years old at the time and a huge peppa pig fan. She was needing new slippers as her feet grow so fast. I bought them from a shoe shop in my local town called Steading and Simpsons which has now closed down and left our little town feeling like a ghost town. They cost me £4.00 and were available in many sizes from size 5 to 11. They are very good quality considering they were very cheap to buy, They are pink most girls fave colour, they have two shades of pink baby pink and a brighter pink. The slipper uppers are made from a thick padded fleese material that keeps my daughters feet warm, The shoes have a velcro strap that fastens at the side of the slipper, i like it being velcro because my daughter can put them on herself and you can fasten the slippers tighter for more support around the ankle. The soles of the shoes are made from rubber like material which is quite thick and gives good grip on laminate flooring and carpets and gives me piece of mind when she comes down the stairs by herself. The slippers have a plastic peppa pig embossed on them, peppa is wearing her usual pink outfit and is holding a teddy bear. My daughter was delighted with her new slippers and popped them on straight away, she even tried to wear them to bed the first night she had them. They are excellent quality and have plenty of padding to support growing kids feet. They lasted her 5 months before she out grew them, in the 5 months she had them they had been through the washing machine a few times on a low wash setting and came out the machine like new. They were such a bargain and i cant believe that the shop has now closed down. 5 dooyoo stars from me
This time last year my daughter was an absolute Peppa Pig addict so it seemed apt to get her a pair of peppa slippers for Christmas. I was in Wyndsors one afternoon and spotted a pair on the shelf priced at £4.00 I thought that was a decent price to pay and I knew my little girl would love them. Part of the reason for me wanting slippers for her is that we have laminate floor in the kitchen and as she regularly takes her socks off I thought it would be much better, and warmer, to walk in slippers. They are quite cute little slippers, I would say they are made from an almost fleece like fabric and are very soft on the inside. The slippers are a two tone pink design and have a plastic picture of Peppa holding her teddy on the front. The slippers fasten with a velcro flap so you can make them as tight or loose as you like. The base of the slippers have a rubbery feel and are very flexible which makes walking in them comfortable for the child. Peppa slippers come in a range of sizes, I think the smallest was size 5 and the largest I saw was 11 so they will fit slightly older children rather than just toddlers. I have only washed the slippers a couple of times and though they came out very clean, they also came out a little bobbly so they do look a little tatty now unfortunately. It is important to wash them on a low heat as the plastic picture of Peppa may melt or even come off if the heat is too high!! My daughter absolutely loves these slippers even though now she isn't so much of a Peppa fan, she always wears them in the house and says they make her feet feel nice which makes me think that is her way of saying they must be very comfortable! It is a good thing that she has them now, as our kitten loves to attack feet so she always makes sure she puts them on as soon as she gets out of bed so Cleo has no chance of pouncing on her toes!! I think for the price I paid for them the slippers were an absolute bargain and I would recommend them happily, even if they only last for six months or so. I think I would give the Peppa Pig Night Night Slippers four out of five Dooyoo stars! Thank you for reading my review :)
