Primark Bow Ballet Pumps
Advantages: Cheap, Comfy, Look better quality than Primark.
Disadvantages: Don't last long, Mark easily.
When it comes to Primark shoes, I often find that they are hit and miss. Despite being a huge lover of Primark and all of its bargains, it is fair to say that some of the shoes I have tried from there have been utterly useless. However, I sometimes manage to find a pair which do the trick and for a small price tag. I don't expect shoes to last long when purchased from Primark, but a good few weeks at least is expected. These are obviously only available from Primark stores as they do not have a website. They have been around for a good few months now, as I have had mine a while, so be sure to get some soon if you are interested in case they discontinue them.
The reason I like to purchase most of my casual ballerina pumps from Primark is because I often get bored of wearing the same shoes over and over again. So I like to invest in some good, sturdy plain black shoes and then have a dabble with some of the pretty shoes on offer for a cheaper price. At least if they don't last me too long, I can easily replace them for the same small price tag. The price I paid for my pair of these bow ballet pumps was just £6.00. I think that £6.00 is a fantastic price for a pair of shoes this beautiful, so I had to purchase them.
I wanted to buy some pretty shoes which I could team with a whole host of outfits. Because of this, I decided to go for the white shoes with the black bow. These flat shoes are also available in a black colour with a black bow, as well as a beige colour with a black bow. The white ones stood out to me as I thought they would be quite versatile, as well as being perfect for both the summer and autumn. I also felt they were a little different, so went for these ones. I believe Primark shoes go from a size three up to a seven/eight if you are interested in these.
The thing I like most about these shoes are their wonderful versatility. I wear them mostly for daytime use, so I like to team them with jeans and a t-shirt, or even leggings or a nice dress in the summer. They are plain, yet have character to them. These could also be worn for occasions such as nights out.
The shoes obviously don't feel of the best quality, but I thought they seemed quite a good quality in comparison to some of the other Primark shoe range. The outside of the shoes is quite soft, and the feet can fit comfortably in to the shoe. I have quite wide feet and often find shoe shopping a nightmare for ballerina style shoes. My feet however fit in these fine, and I think that these are actually a really comfortable pair of shoes. They look great, feel great and did not cause any pain on my feet which I often experience in other Primark shoes. These seemed really good for my £6.00.
Until things just started to go wrong... In no way did I over wear these. I would say I probably wore them two or three days of the week if that. After about three weeks they started to scuff really badly, and then a hole formed by the toes. When I had deemed them just too bad to wear anymore, they were practically black in colour. Despite not wearing them in harsh conditions or in muddy or messy environments, these beautiful white shoes ended up almost looking black completely. They just got so dirty easily, and not just because of the white colour but because of the shoe itself. They are so easy to scuff, and the marks are really hard to get out of them.
Overall, you really do get what you pay for with these shoes. I think they are beautiful shoes for the price paid, however they just seemed to mark too easily and ripped apart within weeks. Although it's to be expected with Primark shoes, I was really hoping they might have lasted that little bit longer. I don't think I would go back to purchase these shoes again, however they were lovely when they were in a good condition. Thanks for reading.
