Primark Bow Ballet Pumps
Advantages: There are a range of colours and they are very good for the price
Disadvantages: They do not last very long
These are flat shoes in a ballet pump style. They are available in a few colours including the two above, today I am wearing a cream pair of pumps with black velveteen bow. I like the solid colour of the pumps because Primark too often pattern their flat shoes and I think these look more professional when I wear them while I am working. The piping will always match the colour of the bow and that streamlines the look of the pumps.
These are very comfortable to wear and I have never had blisters or rubbed skin on the back of my feet even when they are brand new. The very flat sole makes them quite uncomfortable to walk in for a long way and the shoes are quite soft so they don't support my feet very well. When they were new they felt rigid against the sides of my feet but now they feel more like fabric and it's only the back keeping them secure as I walk. The round toe gives my toes room to stretch out but the plastic insole makes my feet very hot.
Primark have been selling these shoes for 2 years and I have had several pairs. If they are worn very regularly they get holes in the side of the shoe where it touches the sole, the toe can also get a hole in it. The shoes will go flat after not very long and then they still look nice on but I hide them in a drawer when I'm not wearing them because they look a mess. Sometimes the colour starts peeling off but that is when they are a few months old.
WHAT I THINK
I like these as disposable shoes because they only cost £5 so I can buy the different colours to go with different outfits. They look good with a maxi dress or jeans but you can wear them with anything casual, I brought a pair in dolly pink for a wedding while I was pregnant and you could tell they were cheap shoes but they still looked good and smart. They were the most comfortable shoes for me at that time because they are not too structured and were soft on my swollen feet.
These are good for the price but are the sort of shoes that will get marked or ripped easily so don't expect them to last for too long.
4 Dooyoo Stars.
Summary: These shoes are very cheap and a good buy
