“ Brand: Red Herring / Type: Sandals „
I never really liked sandals before. I always thought they were really not comfortable because of the bit between your toe. So I always wore ballet pumps. My cousin always wore sandals and I was asking how ca she wear them. And she just said, you get used to it. So last year when I went on holiday I decided it was time to buy some sandals. I thought they werent very comfy at first but I got used to them, like my cousin said. I wore my sandals all the time in the summer after my goliday but they were staarting to look shabby so I wanted some new ones.
I had a Debenhams £20 voucher from saving Shell points for buying petrol. So one day we headed up to Lincoln to spend them in Debenhams. Its a really good shop filled with everything. Make up, sun glasses, purfume, clothes for men and women, bags, jewelry and more. I went to the shoe section which is upstairs in the Debenhams at Lincoln. They wasnt too much to choose from. They were cheap though. Most of them were £15 or 'buy 2 get one half price'. So you could buy 2 pairs of shoes for £15 and it would only cost £22.50.
I saw some nice white sandals that stood out to me. They were white, which is one of my favourite shoe colours. And they wasnt to strappy. I dont like sandals with loads of straps. These were £15. They had a few gold parts on but not too many. I didnt try them on because I was in a rush. I went downstairs to one of the check outs and bought them.
In the car journey home I tried them on, they seemed fine. They were really comfy compared to my other sandals. The next day I wore them properly out. I had them on the tightest fitting. I bought a size five because thats the size I usually am apart from in heels. I noticed the back kept falling down so the sandal kept coming off my foot. It was really annoying. I had a closer look at them when I was sat down and had chance. I noticed that on one sandal the back strap is held up, like stuck on to a certain part of the other straps at the front. Were as the other foot wasnt being held up. I think thats why they kepy falling down.
They are really comfy but I just cant wear them while they are falling down. So I decided to put an extra hole in the strap to make them so tight that they couldnt fall down. It worked and now I wear them every chance I get to. I am dissapointed that I bought a falty pair but for the price I think there good. I would recommend these. They are stylish and comfy! You cant go wrong!
