“ Brand: Rocket Dog / Gender: women / Type: Loafer „
I never seem to go out looking for new shoes, but I often end up coming home with them. Shoes and bags, like many women, are my weaknesses! These little shoes were bought in Shuh last year on a little bit of an impulse but I did not own any loafer style shoes and as they were at the height of fashion, I thought these would fill the gap in my wardrobe! They look good and very stylish but boy, for comfortable looking shoes they really pinch!
==Price and availability==
You can buy these shoes from stores such as Very.com, Shuh and Office. They cost £27 and you are paying for the brand name here because unbranded shoes of a similar description are half this!
The soles of the shoes are thin but made from a combination of rubber and thick weave. The exterior of the shoe is cotton and polyester and feels quite rough. The fabric is red and white stripes and cute and girlie in look. The fabric feels a bit rough but this only because you can feel the ridges of the fabric, when it is on your foot it feels fairly smooth. The shoe is well formed and the back of the shoe is stiff with a little rocket dog tag.
==Wear and tear==
The shoes get dirty quick, the white of the fabric is like a sponge and dust just seems to absorb into it! I have washed these in the machine though and they were fine. The only other problem with the shoes is that they pinch my toes, they are a really small fitting and squeeze my feet together. I cannot wear them for long period of time, or walk very far in them. The sole is also quite thin which adds to the discomfort. A good point to the shoes is that they do not fall off your feet and fit snug.
These are cute shoes but they look more comfortable than they actually are, I have had a couple of rocket dog shoes before and not had any problems so I do not think all their shoes are small fitting, however these ones really are! Not good when your feet get hot and sweaty! Which leads me on to my next point, the shoes smell foul after a short time of wearing them. I do not get sweaty smelly feet but for some reason these shoes really start to hum, I think it must be the type of fabric. I think next time I will buy a pair of Toms as they look similar but wider.
