I have always been a Roxy fan as I like the quality and surf style of it. With the warmer weather coming up I was searching for a nice new pair of open toe flats. After trawling the ROXY website I found the ROXY Nymph sandals on offer with 30% off and free delivery. They looked a classic simple sandal's and with the money off I was sold. When my new shoes arrived they were well packed. They were wrapped in a thick brown paper with the Roxy logo stamped on it. Once I got past the brown paper there was a black shoe box with a white Roxy logo. The box wasn't battered at all. Inside were my sandal's wrapped in white tissue like paper. There was a variety of colours to choose from - white, black, green or red. I chose the light green as I thought they had a fresh, summer look about them. They are made from 100% leather so I was assured they would be sturdy and long lasting quality. They are very comfortable and the leather is soft, pliable and easy to wear. In the past I have found some flip flops rub between the toes but due to the leather being soft there was no rub or discomfort. The sole is a light tan colour and slightly padded but very flat. There is a slightly raised heel but unnoticeable when wearing. The shoes are very versatile to most outfits. I have worn these casually with jeans and also with a smart summer dress. The ankle buckle has 5 notch holes to allow for comfortable, secure fit. However as these have a buckle there not easy to slide on and off like conventional flip flops. The ROXY logo is stitched on to a small tag on the opposite side to the buckle and also present on the underside of the sole in a slightly raised font. I have worn these probably 20 times so far and on a few occasions done a lot of walking but the sole is still in very good condition. Obviously they are a seasonal wear but I feel even with 1 years Summer wear I will have my monies worth. I also believe they will have life left in them for further summer's and holidays. One downside to these is the sole is flat and fairly shiny so are slippy on non-grip floors. After a few wears the sole scratched so there no longer slippy. I should have taken my Mum's advice and scratched the bottom of them on a gravel floor!! I would recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a pair of good quality, comfortable flats and also strongly recommend looking on the Roxy website (www.roxy-uk.co.uk) as they have some great offers along with free standard delivery. I would say ROXY normally aim there products towards the younger market but with these sandals they are suited to all ages. With most named products I do think you often over pay but without question £28.00 is a bargain.
