Samuel Windsor shoes.......I had some doubts after reading half a dozen or so of 'dodgy' reviews & coupled with the fact that 2 pairs of handmade leather shoes for £60.00 does seem remarkably cheap ( in other words,''If something looks too good to be true it usually is....''), I ordered with some trepidation. However I was relatively comforted by the fact that they offer a 30 day no quibble money back guarentee & enclose a 2nd class prepaid returns label. I opted for express delivery service (72hrs) & the insurance so total outlay came to £71.20. I ordered around Friday lunchtime & the same afternoon received a phonecall from their customer service department confirming order & delivery address. Both pairs arrived safe & sound the following Tuesday, boxed seperately, complete with individual shoe bags,spare laces, shoe horns & shoe trees (to keep the shoes in shape). They are as good a quality as any that you would buy here in the UK & for a fraction of the price. Yes it's true the shoes are made in India & the shirts in Asia, a fact that they do not hide if anyone bothers to read the FAQs page. That's how companies remain competitive by farming out work to cheaper Overseas labour. Let's get real people, the majority of items bought these days are produced Overseas, it's just that most Companies aren't upfront about where their items are produced. For the minority that have had bad experiences with this company I can only say that you must have been unlucky. I will certainly be returning for more. I working in the private security sector & appreciate having good quality comfortable footwear & have recommended samuel Windsor to my other work colleagues.
