I bought these boots last year in the sale in the Skechers shop in my local designer outlet. These boots cost me £34.99, the RRP was apparently £59.99. My boots are black in colour and the sizes available were ladies size 3-8. I am normally a size 6 but I needed to get these in a 5 as I found them to be really roomy. The boots have a leather upper and the outer part of the boot is made from what is described on the label as 'textile' the inside of the boot has a faux fur lining. The boots are well made, I like Ugg boots but I won't pay the full price for them as I don't wear them often enough to justify the hefty price tag. I sprayed my boots when they were new with a shoe protector as I knew they would end up getting wet in the rain and snow. The sole of these boots isn't as grippy as I would like. I have had other Skecher boots which have had a rubber base with a good grip on, unfortunately I find that in the ice these boots don't offer much of a grip which meant a few times last winter I went ice skating. The boots themselves are warm and the faux fur lining is toasty on your toes. I like to wear these over jeans or with an oversized jumper and leggings. There is plenty of room around the calf area so these would suit people who struggle finding boots to fit their calves. These boots have taken a bashing, I wore them in the snow last year to get to work as I don't find wellies very comfy. They have got wet on several occasions and I haven't noticed them letting in any damp or water. This could be because I sprayed them though. Finally the boots haven't started to collapse at the back like some other cheap varieties of these boots do in fact they have a thick plastic insert in the heel which stops this from happening. Overall for the money these are good value and I would recommend them. I will deduct a star for the sole as I don't find them too grippy.
I bought these a couple of weeks ago. I had a very similar pair last year that I was really impressed with but they are beginning to look a bit tired after being worn to death so I decided it was time for a new pair, I also wanted a brown pair in addition to the cream pair I already own! These usually retail at around £50 but I found a pair on the Studio website for £35 which I thought was a bit of a bargain (you do have to pay £4.95 postage though). I couldn't wait for them to arrive and when they did I couldn't wait to put them on! The first thing I noticed was the inside of the boots, in the other pair I have got fake sheepskin which is soft but quite thick, in these boots it is fine and very soft and is almost silky. I initially put my bare feet in the boots and it felt gorgeous on my feet. The boots look very nice, they are quite tall and come down about 10cm below my knee. They are darker in brown to the classic uggs, however they are not a chocolate colour and instead quite a bit lighter. They are darker than in the picture above. There is a Skechers logo to the heel of both boots which is a lighter brown and looks nice on the back there giving them some branding. I had really high expectations of these boots, being so pleased with the similar ones from the same brand. I'm happy to say that I'm impressed and if anything I think these are better than my other ones (even though I gave them 5 dooyoo stars too). When I'm wearing these boots my feet feel warm, snug and comfortable. I can walk about in hours for them and not get aching feet. They also keep my feet dry when its raining. The suede has done well with the rain as it hasn't affected it too badly, there are a couple of tiny, barely there marks but thats all. I love these boots as they are so comfortable and also very stylish. Numerous people have asked me where I got my boots from and I think I will be investing in another pair as they are also available in black.
