      Cute flip flops!

At the end of the summer my firm held a big BBQ. Although it was a casual BBQ I felt I ought to be reasonably turned out. I has a nice new pair of white cropped trousers and I wanted some new flip flops to go with them.
I found these flip flops on Amazon, they are the Sugar Cabo Anchor Flip Flops. They were only £10.00 so I bought them.

The ones I got are different to the pair Dooyoo are showing in their photo. Mine are mainly white with a navy toe post and a cute little navy anchor charm which is attached to the out side straps.

The flip flops are flat and have a nice sole which is also navy, this gives a smart appearance around the edge.
The Sugar logo is on the inner sole of the flip flop and also on the bottom. ( of the flip flop that is!) The toe post is, as I said, navy and is just plain. The rest of the flip flop is white and the straps are done to look like rope. Very nautical. This is nice because it takes away the plainness.

The thing that really attracted me to these flip flops though is the sweet little anchor charm which is attached to the outer straps. Its navy coloured and there's even a little chain.

I wore the flip flops around the house for a while before the BBQ to make sure I could wear them for several hours and I'm glad I did. The little anchor that looked so cute turned out to be quite vicious! It didn't actually rub the side of my foot but it kept digging in. I found though that after a while the straps seemed to "give" a bit and this sorted the anchor problem out.

I was pleased with my Sugar Flip Flops, I wore them with white cropped trousers and a navy t shirt, they really completed my outfit. I know navy and white may sound a bit old fashioned (my nana wears a lot of navy) but they really did look quite trendy.

The Cabo flip flops also come in black and silver which look very nice too. I might order them now ready for next years heat wave.

Over all I would recommend these flip flops, they are not the most comfortable ones I have ever worn but they are ok for an afternoon or evening. I like them because they go with casual clothes but can look smartish if that's the look you need

        Sugar Cabo Anchor Flip Flop

** Sugar Cabo Anchor Flip Flop **

Even with the last rainy summer I did bought some new flip flops for myself I wear in the garden and outside. Especially when it's really warm I hate to wear shoes so I quickly run towards the new flip flops. These where a great bargain I think and where only 10 pounds. I really couldn't resist myself and had to get them.

Well the summer is long gone and we didn't had that great weather but I had some opportunities to wear these. These Sugar Cabo Anchor Flip Flop come in white/blue and have this navy style. It even has a little anchor! I could already see myself on a boat sailing away but unfortunately that didn't happen. I just wore them in the garden and in town. You also got a more darker version of this flip flop but I thought the navy one was more summer for me.

        *****************************************************

The sole of the flip flop is very solid and feels firm. They give great support for my foot and feel soft and comfortable while walking. They feel great for flip flops and it's always first getting use to it. What make them stand out is the twisted little rope with the little anchor. It fits good with my foot but the rope did rubbed against my foot while walking. It makes them a little bit less comfortable.

For flip flops they are really great and I know we are going towards the winter right now but I'm keeping mine for next summer. They have a really great navy look and feel comfortable for walking. I think the they are great for the price of 10 pounds and you really can't go wrong with them.

A simple design that didn't work as well as it could have done.

My Sugar Cabo Anchor Flip Flops were a summer purchase which I thought looked modern and minimal with just a hint of the nautical theme going on. I liked the simplicity of the design as soon as I saw it and thought the flip flops stood out amongst those I had seen. The design was very simple but very eye catching and I thought it was very cute and smart at the same time.

When I purchased them I had a choice of two colour blends, one being a lighter mix and the other being darker. I really liked the mix of the dark shade with a hint of gold to it. As these were not listed as a Dooyoo product, a product suggestion was made so that I can share my thoughts about these summer flip flops.

        **********************************************************
My Sugar Cabo Anchor Flip Flops were a reasonable buy in terms of price and they are now reduced at Office to £10 from their original £20 in the dark toned shade. In the lighter mix you can buy the same flip flops for £13.99, these are stocked at other stores too, so you may even be able to pick them up for less. As ever shopping around may mean a cheaper purchase price.

The colour I picked was the same as the one in the piccy here. They are a clever mix of sleek black with gold highlights. The other shade I could have picked was white but I didn't go for those as I thought the darker mix was the more striking of the two and I worried that the white ones would get dirty too quickly.

        *********************************************************
My black and gold toned flip flops had a simple anchor charm stitched onto one side of the twisted rope effect straps. The little anchor charm was something I thought made the flip flops stand out against others I could have picked. Whilst in store I thought these added a nice amount of detailing to the flip flops, in wear I have had one or two mishaps with the charms.

One of the charms quickly came loose and scratched my foot when I was wearing these flip flops. The little hook shaped edges of the charm caught my skin and made it uncomfortable to continue with it as it was. Rather than continue walking and wearing the flip flops with the charm hanging off, I had to remove it from the rope strap and then re-attach is back on later. I found this inconvenient and rather awkward to do.

        **********************************************************
The sole of my Sugar Cabo Anchor Flip Flops are simple and have the sugar logo indented in the middle of them in stylized writing. They have a nice cushioned feel about them which is a plus point. This 'Sugar' text is repeated on the part of the shoe where you place your foot. The toe post is made from a leather effect synthetic material and is very slim.

I have found that when I first got these they rubbed against my foot both at the toe post area and at the side where the charm was placed. These are definite minus points for the flip flops, as the over all comfort was rather compromised by this. I rather like the nice cushiony sole, as it gives a nice feel when walking in these flip flops, but as it took time to wear them in due to the flip flops rubbing against my skin, this wasn't enough to win me over.

        **********************************************************
I did find that over time the flip flops became a little more comfortable with repeated wear, but the charms could so easily catch against me that I eventually decided to remove them both for good. I feel this defeated the object of me having picked the flip flops over others in the first place, as once the charms were off the look of the flip flops was much simpler than it had been.

To rate my Sugar Cabo Anchor Flip Flops I need to take into account how they performed verses the money spent on the purchase. Whilst they certainly looked lovely when new, they didn't live up to what I hoped in terms of comfort and longevity. With everything in mind my flip flops get a 3 star rating and are something I would not be looking to buy again.
