With these lovely late summer days that we have been having I have loved the fact that I have been living in my flip flops! I am lucky that I am allowed to wear them to work, no health and safety worries so I can wear my open toed shoes all day long! The pair of flip flops that I have been wearing is my Ted Baker Flip flops. I always used to live in my Havania flip flops but before I went on holiday in May of this year I spotted the Ted Baker shoes and just fell in love with them straight away. I did go away and think about it, especially as I already have a number of different flip flops in the cupboard at home but I knew that I wanted to buy them and sure enough I went back and here are my thoughts on them.


The Ted Baker flip flops cost me £35.00 and this was from the House of Fraser store. I am sure that independent shoe retailers stock them as I am certain I spotted them in a shop about 2 months prior to buying them! The shoes are not the cheapest flip flops but then I paid £23.00 for my set of Havania flip flops and wore them for 2 years running and virtually every day through the summer months so I was hoping that these would be the same.


I think it was the colour and the style of the flip flops that first drew my eye to them. The flip flops were orange and pink that I spotted, I remember seeing a Ted Baker purse in this colour as well and being draw to that. You could get the flip flops in a black colour but they just were not calling out to me like the brightly coloured ones were! The flip flops are made from plastic and they have a really shiny look about them, almost like a PVC shoe.


There is minimal detail on the flip flop which I think adds to its look, it is casual but because the colours are so vibrant and there is a bow on the toe section of the flip flop it just jazzes them up slightly and so I have been wearing these for a number of different occasions. The bow isn't too large, it is definitely in keeping with the design and there is a small gold stud at the centre of the bow which has the Ted Baker name detailed on it. The fit of the flip flop is really good, I am a size 7, 8 in certain shoes but the 7 was perfect. I didn't spot any half sizes in these when looking through though.


I am always a little wary when having new flip flops that the section between the toes is going to rub but I found no problems at all with these, they really did just slip on between my toes with ease and I was walking around all day long in them.


I would have no hesitation in recommending these flip flops; really comfy and even though a slightly higher price tag than you pay for other brands I think it is worth the extra as they are so comfy and have a good grip on them, you are safe on most surfaces!
