      5/5 - I love them!

I'd been lusting after these boots for what seemed like ages and finally got them at the end of last month after persuading my boyfriend to buy them for me. I was going to buy them when they first came out but they sold out within a few days in my local Topshop and my size was unavailable on their website, so these are clearly popular! Despite this I've never noticed anyone wearing similar boots and I live in quite a big city.

These are western style studded ankle boots which are absolutely stunning and very unique. These really stand out from all of the other boots that I own and I've had lots of compliments on these and I've caught several people looking at them enviously when I've worn them to town etc! These look very expensive and if I didn't know the actual price I'd put them at at least £150; they have a really unique design and look very glam, especially when dressed up but they make even the most casual outfits look ten times better.

These are £70.00 which I think for such a stylish, durable, high quality and comfortable pair of boots is a real bargain and I know that I'll be getting lots more wear out of these because they're suitable for all seasons and the sole has a good grip, although I'm not sure if I'll wear them when it's snowy and muddy for obvious reasons! I love the design of these and the shiny gold studs all over them remind me slightly of the Alexander Wang stud bag. The studs are made of what feels like metal and they're obviously 3D. I was a bit worried that they might come off but they are stuck on very securely and although they don't add a noticeable amount of weight to the boot they do not feel cheap or flimsy.

The boots are available in two colours; black or tan brown. I was going to get the brown ones as I thought they'd be more summery but in the end I decided to get the black as they're more versatile and the gold studs stand out against the black background making them even more eye catching. The boots are really well made and all of the stitching is really neat. The boots have a golden zip on the side of them so they're easy to slip on and I've never had any problems with the zip jamming. The boots fit comfortably around my ankles and they are not too tight or too loose - I have quite skinny ankles (or in my boyfriends words 'chicken legs'!) and these are not ridiculously loose which is something I was concerned about.

The boots are really comfortable and true to size. I got my usual size five and although I have quite wide feet they fit perfectly, my feet do not feel squashed at all and these are really easy to walk in. They have a very slight, sturdy heel (2 inches) which I like as it gives me a bit of extra height and the sole is nice and thick too. The boots have a suede outer and they're 100% leather. The leather is brilliant quality and you can tell by looking at the boots and touching them that they're well made. These are very versatile and can be worn with literally anything; maxiskirts, hotpants, shorts, dresses, leggings, tights, skinny jeans etc - one of my favourite outfits at the minute is a pastel maxi skirt with a vest and these add a nice edge to the outfit.

The boots do pick up dirt quite easily and as they are black it shows up very prominently. They are not suitable to be machine washed but I find that a wet wipe does the job in cleaning them up. Overall, highly recommended.
