Advantages: glitter effect is nice an snazzy (till the glitter falls off!)
Disadvantages: glitter falls off, look shabby quickly, not very good quality
I bought these little 'Million' glitter ballerina pumps about a month or so ago from Topshop. I actually found them in the sale, reduced from £20 to just £8. They had them available in the gold pictured above, and also in black, I bought them in the black.
I do find that the ballet pumps in Topshop are slightly on the small side, I'm normally a size 5 in most shoes, and occasionally I can even get away with a 4. I actually have to buy Topshop ballet pumps, including these Million ballet pumps, in a size 6 though. I think that the problem is that they are quite narrow, which is why I need to go up to a size 6 as I have little fat feet!
Initially I did find that these Million ballet pumps were still very slightly on the tight side, even in the size 6, and I have to say that these have never become really comfortable to wear at all, they do still pinch and rub slightly. Owing to the fact that they're not actually particularly comfortable they've not actually had much wear, and I have to say that I'm really disappointed with them in this respect as they actually look like I've had them forever and they're really shabby.
These have black glitter all over the shoes, and then they are finished off with a black fabric trim around the rim of the shoes and a little black fabric ribbon bow trim on the front. They don't appear to be very well made as they look tatty and shabby already, and as I said I haven't actually worn them that often, Also quite a lot of the glitter has fallen off too. I've only worn them in dry weather as well, I certainly haven't been out in the rain or worn them in damp weather.
They are a flat ballerina pump, and the soles are just a very thin plastic sole, I'm very heavy footed and so I find that I always wear the soles down very quickly on ballet shoes from Topshop and I guess that I would probably do the same with these ones too if they lasted long enough! As with all thin soled Topshop ballet pumps because the sole is so thin I can feel some stones and cobbles through the sole.
These did look good on for the first couple of wears, they instantly glam up any outfit with the glitter, and they are perfect for either day or evening wear, you can easily dress these up or down.
I wouldn't recommend these, even though I only paid £8 for them, in fact I'm actually really disappointed with them.
