“ Brand: Topshop / Type: Platform Shoes „
Recently I needed a bit of retail therapy and I've been saving up for ages now, so when I went out on a shopping trip with a few friends, to do a spot of Christmas shopping a couple of weeks ago, I ended up having a massive splurge! I bought loads of new things, I got loads of Christmas presents sorted but as well as buying for others I also decided to treat myself to a few bits and bobs as well.
I was in Topshop and these heels really caught my eye. They looked really dazzling and sparkly and I knew I would have to have them from the minute I set my eyes on them.
Now I absolutely love shoes and you could say I have enough already, OK you would definitely say I have enough already if you saw my wardrobe. But I LOVED these shoes and there is a very well known saying that a girl can never have too many shoes - and anyway with Christmas coming up I thought I would have plenty of oppurtunities to wear them so its not like they would be going to waste.
I tried them on and took a few steps up and down the shop. They aren't the comfiest shoes I've ever worn as I'm sure you can imagine, but still I thought they looked gorgeous. I asked my friends what they thought and they chorused that if I didn't buy them then they would.
The heels are really tall and I'm over six foot wearing them so I do feel a bit like a giant. But I don't care because they look so sparkly and gorgeous! The heel is thin and a bit wobbly at first but practise makes perfect and I've hardly taken these off since I got them, I've been wobbling round the house trying to get used to the extra height.
Now that I've talked about the comfort and the style I'm afraid to say that it is now time to talk about the price. I wished I had looked at the price tag before I fell in love with these shoes, when I had fallen in love with them, as they are a bit more expensive than what I would normally pay for a pair of heels. They cost me £62. So if I'm on dooyoo a bit more than usual over the next couple of weeks you know why!
There has been a small amount of glitter loss from these shoes. I have them on my desk in front of me as I type now for example, and when I run my finger along the side of them a few tiny glitter bits get stuck. Also when I hit them together (did this once will not do it again) glitter fell off.
I wore these to an early halloween party a couple of nights ago as part of this black witches outfit I had on, and I did get a few compliments. They might have made me look a bit drunk because I was wobbling around in them so much, and I did have to take them off on the way home as my feet were aching so much, but I didn't care because they looked so stylish to begin with!
Overall I would definitely recommend!
