Advantages: Warm, comfy, some support,

Disadvantages: Usually expensive, not waterproof

I bought these in black from Amazon for the bargain price of £37.50. I have never seen genuine Ugg boots that cheaply before or since. They seem to range from around to £60 - £150. These were not my favourite style but I bought them because of the price.

The inside of the boots has a furry lining that is lusciously warm in cold weather! They are also very comfy and have a fairly decent sole with some support. There is an obvious difference between these and the sort of imitations you buy at shops like Primark. I wouldn't say that I would want to go hiking in them but they are pretty good for day to wear (shopping, looking after kids etc). Even though they are very warm they are not much use in the rain which can limit how much you wear them (i.e. you need cold, dry days/nights).

One good point about these boots is that you can wear them 2 ways. First of all you can wear them folded down as in the picture above, however I didn't like this look on me, so I pulled them up and wore them like regular knee high boots.

In terms of the brand, you either love or hate Uggs usually. I was never that keen on them but for the price I had to try them. And despite knowing better I do love a designer label when I can afford one!

Summary: You do get more quality buying real Uggs instead of 'similar to' boots
