I've been wearing Ugg boots for years now and I love them as they are so so comfortable. I've had various pairs of the classic talls, and a pair of the classic argyles. When we were in New York earlier this year my plan was to treat myself to another pair of the classic talls. That was until I spotted these - the short sheepskin cuff! I fell in love instantly and this is what I ended up buying! They were available in 2 colours; the sand with natural coloured sheepskin fluff which is pictured above, and the black with black coloured sheepskin fluff which is the colour that I bought. I figured that the sand colour was far too impractical, I also thought that the black just looked nicer as well. They also had them in the tall version as well, in both colours, but I thought that they didn't look as nice, plus they were more expensive ($375.00 plus tax). The short version was expensive enough, I paid $275.00 plus tax, I've seen them here in the UK for £255.00, so I figure I got a bargain. Ugg boots are much cheaper in the US. These are basically the Ugg classic shorts with the addition of a whole load of long soft fluffy mongolian sheepskin fluff. Each pair is actually different, and the lovely guy in the shop brought out a few different pairs for me in my size to let me choose the 'fluff' which I preferred, I'm sure he just thought I was a crazy English lady for wanting to choose my 'fluff', but hey I was paying nearly $300.00 for these so I wanted to choose the best pair! As with all Uggs these are lined with the sheepskin which is designed to keep your feet toasty and warm in the winter, and nice and cool in the summer. The sheepskin liner and sole are so soft, and this combined with the lightweight flexible sole on these makes them really comfortable. I can wear these all day from morning to night, be on my feet all day, walk for miles in them, and they are still as comfortable as when I first put them on, no sore feet either. I find that Ugg boots are slightly on the big side, I always go down a size, I'm normally a size 5, and I always buy a size 4 in Uggs. I do have quite wide feet, and I have no problems with the foot width in Uggs. I've also got quite chunky calves, and these are a perfect fit for me, I can even wear them over my skinny jeans. They look good with absolutely anything; from skinny jeans or legggings or tights, to short dresses or skirts, to shorts. I've even worn them over my pyjamas to nip to the local drive through McDonalds! Ugg boots are worth the money if you look after them. They will last quite a while if you follow the care instructions and DO NOT go out in the rain in them. The rain will leave nasty horrible water stains on them, I found this out the hard way with a previous pair of Ugg boots. I would imagine that getting the sheepskin fluff on these boots wet would mean that it would all go a bit tatty and mangy looking, and you certainly don't want that after you've just paid nearly $300.00 for them! You can buy an Ugg cleaning kit for your boots, I've never bought this, I've just looked after my Ugg boots on the whole. I'm really happy with these sheepskin cuff Uggs, I've had loads of comments asking where I got them from. I love that they are funky and unusual and different, in fact I think that they may just be my favourite pair of boots at the moment.
